The driver is blocked due to compatibilidad issues

Check that your Windows version is compatiblw with that version of Spysweeper. If it is, then .....

Re-install the Spy Sweeper again as there could be an installation error due to registry-based problems ( do not tinker with the Windows Registry ). You should be getting a good scan again if that installation is successful!

Check that your Windows version is compatiblw with that version of Spysweeper.

I need to shut down spy sweeper and reinstall - how do I do that?

Restart your computer--> black screen--> after the Bios check (is always the 1st step)--> start pressing the F8 key repeatedly--> Windows boot menu will apear--> use the arrows--> Safe mode

It will look different from you normal Windows (don't worry about this)--> go to Add / remove programs--> Uninstall your spysweeper program--> restart your computer normally--> install your program normally

Webroot connection engine lost or terminated

That means that the spyware had damaged the spysweeper software , and probably also the system.

The best solution in this case is saving all your data, then formatting the disk and performing a new system installation.

Beforeformatting and reinstalling windows you can try the following software,it is one of most powerful, it is safe, and it is free.

Spybot - Search & Destroy - Free software downloads

Spy sweeper not working

1- Install using this serial: SSDC-ONLN-AAAA-NNNL-NINC

Then

2- Go into the C:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper

Then

3- Right click the "install.dat" file-->go to Properties--> at the bottom check the boxes "read-only" and "hidden"-->then click Apply

And finally....

4- Run SpySweeperFix.v1.1.exe

Allow SpySweeperFix.v1.1.exe to run on the next Windows start up, this gives you the definition update till 2020, otherwise, you'll just get till 2006!

Hope this helps, if not, post back.

The connection to the spy sweeper engine has been lost or terminated. Sky sweeper will now close and restart

CLEAN INSTALL needed here.
Try un-installing after the un-install, shut down completely for at least 30 seconds, and then restart. This releases any "Locked files" for deletion.
Then do a search in 'all files and folders' - search for both Weebroot and then Spy Sweeper, with the options "Search system folders", "Search hidden files and folders" and "Search subfolders" checked. Delete all of those files found.
You should do this search and delete whenever you un-install any programs. It will remove lots and lots of leftover junk files and corrupted files taking up room on your hard drive. It will also give you a "clean install" when you reinstall or install an updated program. (Do this ESPECIALLY when updating to a NEW anti-virus programs and “Internet Security Suite” programs such as McAfee or Norton etc.)
BEFORE RE-INSTALLING Spy Sweeper
Download and install "Registry Mechanic" then do the updates prior to running it and removing anything for the first time. This will get rid of all your current Registry errors, prior to installing or reinstalling.
