SC442 Transfer belt contact error
The transfer belt contact sensor does not detect the movement of actuator at the sensor while the polygon motor rotates.
• Dirty transfer belt contact sensor
• Defective transfer belt contact motor
• Disconnected connector of transfer belt contact sensor or motor
• Disconnected cable

C-C152 at power up, the counters display as 0 and the operation panel display is in Japanese.
CAUSE: Main body firmware is corrupt.
SOLUTION: Flash or re-flash the firmware to the latest level.

16.5.6 C2152: Transfer belt pressure welding alienation
* Install the printer first and perform the following steps:
1. Click on Start >> Run (or in the 'Start Search' box).
2. Type MSCONFIG
3. Click on 'OK'. The Configuration Utility should open on the screen.
4. Click on the 'General tab'.
5. Choose 'Selective startup'
6. Check 'Selective startup'
7. Click on 'STARTUP' tab.
8. Uncheck all the programs which start with 'HP' or 'hp' except for 'hpqtra08'.
9. Click on 'OK'. Restart the system
If you are getting a message "System Configuration Utility, you are using the selective startup for troubleshooting your system", I suggest you check the check box in that window and click on 'OK'. This occurs if you are using the Selective startup option and not using the normal startup to reduce the number of startup programs.
On the Start menu, click Run. A Run window (command prompt) appears.
Type msconfig in the Open field and click OK. The System Configuration Utility opens.
Click the General tab.
Select the "Selective Startup" option.
Deselect the "Load Startup Items" checkbox.
Click the Startup tab.
Select the "iTunesHelper" and "qttask" checkboxes in the list.
Click the Services tab.
Make sure that "Hide All Microsoft Services" is selected.
Click Disable All.
Note: If you are troubleshooting an iPhone related issue, select the "Apple Mobile Device Support" checkbox.
After restarting (and logging in to Windows), a window appears confirming that "You have used the System Configuration Utility to make changes to the way Windows starts." Click OK. The System Configuration Utility appears. Do not click OK here as this will prompt you to restart again. First try to reproduce the issue you were having.

To enter diagnostics: Turn on the power and within 4 seconds press the following
sequence: ‘Clear’, ‘Exposure Mode’, ‘Clear’, ‘Exposure
Mode’ (Exposure Mode is the button on the far left). The console will go completely
blank. To enter a code: Select the first part of the code using the copy quantity buttons,
followed by the ‘Print’ button, then the second part of the code followed by the
‘Print’ button again. To exit diagnostics: Press ‘Clear’ repeatedly or turn the power off. *To clear a fuser code:(14) Enter diagnostics, select ‘14’ followed by
‘Print’… exit diagnostics. **To Clear a U2 code:(16) Enter diagnostics, select ‘16’ followed by
‘Print’… exit diagnostics.
On the right side of the services window, scroll down to "Print Spooler". Double-click it.
If startup type is "disabled", click the drop-down and set to "Automatic" and then click "Start". If already on automatic, click "Stop" to stop the service. Once stopped, click "Start" to restart the service.
in the new windows that pops up, scroll down and find "Print Spooler" right click on it, and make sure startup type is set to "automatic", then click on the start button in that same window. Click apply then click ok.. close the services window.. should work now
