Question about HP Compaq Evo Notebook N600c

1 Answer

Monitor not responding

My monitor on my notebook is not responding. I had an external monitor hooked up but I disconnected it. Now I can not get the notebook monitor to go on. I can see the desktop in the screen but only only slightly. I can not see the mouse prompt.

I tried the FN+F4 key and did not get a response. Any suggestions?? I know the monitor works because during booth up it pops on briefly.

Why did my pc notebook suddenly end up with a green screen?

Try hooking up the external monitor to it first to see if the external monitor shows the same symptom.
Are you getting green cast on the whole screen?

Wanting to hook up a different monitor to a notebook. the notebook is a dell and the monitor is kds 780

To hook up the monitor all you will need to do it connect it to the monitor port on the side or back of the notebook it should just start displaying on your external monitor as soon as you hook it up but if it dose not you may need to restart the system. Also the port you need to connect to is the only port on the computer the monitor cable will be able to plug into so don't be worried about connecting to the wrong port on your notebook.

I hope this helped.

Thank you,
Norse

Installing an external monitor to a Toshiba A10 computer

press the FN and F4 keys similtaneously. That will switch the monitor from the LCD to the external monitor. But look on your keyboard it will indicate which buttons to do this for your model. The indication is hughlighted by the blue icons on the keyboard?
