Hi,
this could happen due to a problem in the cartridge, try printing with a different one.

Usually replacing the toner cartridge fixes that problem. Sometimes it's the fuser.

Black line on left side of paper

I forget the terminology but I believe there's either dirt or a sheet of paper on an internal roller.

Black dots are printing on the left hand side of the page when I print from my hp laserjet 1015. Any ideas how to fix this?

Run a "half test". Put paper in the manual feed tray. Print anything. Watch the paper, when it feeds about 1/2 way into the printer, open the cover. Pull out the toner and look down at the paper. If it has the dots, replace the toner. If it doesn't have dots, the fuser is probably bad.

Black line going down side of paper from HP laserjet 1018

Roller Drum Problem in the cartridge.

If you are printing bulky document it may damage the roller drum causing dark line starting for both left and right paper. It will get bigger once it span of time.

Or if you are refilling the toner of the catridge, the waste compartment is full and requires to remove the waste tones inside the cartridge.

Or the worst thing is the the FUSER FILM ROLLER (orange plastic roller inside the printer is torn or burn because of heat or bulky printing.

Due to wear and tear of teflon paper is strucking off and no proper printing. One inch area in the left side of paper from top to bottom is not printing only black shade is coming please guide me for over...

Most likely you have damaged the Drum/head. Unfortunatly I do not believe that this can be replaced. If it can it is very expensive and can be about the same as the printer pricewise.
