If you cannot find the sound card in the hardware, you will need to re-install it.
Tell me what PC you have and I may be able to help more.

Maybe the sound drivers got corrupted. Try re-installing the sound drivers and see if it fixes the problem.. Let me know if this solved the problem and good luck..

Kindly help pls..

What do you mean by error sounds? Is it that you cant hear any sound at all?Follow these steps.

You can roll back the driver by right clicking on my computer, properties,Hardware, device manager,Sound video and game controllers, right click on the intel 8080 driver, properties, driver, roll back driver.
Or you may have to download another driver from the site below:

Check the sound scheme via the sounds icon in control panel. If it says No Sounds, select Windows Default, if a pop up appears asking if you want to save the scheme, select NO. Then select a sound, such as Exclamation, then click on the Sound Play button. Also, should check Device Manager, to see if there are any yellow exclamation points in Sound Card, or if it is disabled.

Playing audio

Hi Nickie69,
You can try updating your Audio driver by going to your PC's manufacturer support site and downloading the latest drivers for your model (If you posted which PC you had, I would have provided a link to the driver page for your model) and updating them.
Or, if your integrated (?) audio is toast, then you can buy an inexpensive or very trick PCI sound card and install it to replace the integrated audio in your PC.
Just a couple of thoughts, as I didn't have much information to work with. More details will get you better solutions, as always.
Good Luck.
