Wet camera

HELP!!! My camera bag with my Nikon D50 and lenses got left out in the rain...The bag is water resitant, but not water proof...After making the grim discovey I removed the battery and sd card...Everything was only slightly damp, so after wiping off and using the blow dryer on low for a few minutes, I then put everything in a plastic box with as many as those little silacone things I could find along with a container of Kosher salt and rice. I have no idea if my camera works as it was off when this happened.....Rattango
