It doesn't work!

My Creative Zen 16Gb got to the stage where every time I turned it on I would get a white screen. I tried many so called solutions, including those on the Creative website - nothing really workd for any length of time. Eventually, suspecting is was a connection issue with the dispaly, I held the Zen in both hands and twisted the case a few times - nothing broke and my Zen has been working faultlessy for the last three days. Hope this helps.

If you need to reset your device everytime you turn it on, it might be a firmware problem or device problem. You may want to try reloading or upgrading the firmware of your player. However, there are risk when you perform the upgrade. It might not work completely if it is not properly done.

For specific firmware upgrade instructions, please refer to the firmware released posted at http://creative.com/products/mp3 or follow the instructions on the screen.

If this doesn’t work then I would send it back under the warranty...Good Luck and let me know if this helped

this happened to my vreative zen also......... what i did is that i waited till all of the battery is gone then i just plugged it in my computer to charge and after that it was all good.....

dpwnload the disc onto your computer then it might work.

My screen did not blink. Nothing happened until I plugged it in the back of my pc. The wall charger did not work and plugging it into my laptop did not work. Did you try the back of your pc? I left it in there for over 6 hours, but I knew it was working when I plugged it in and right away it powered up.

I do have the same problem. When i turn it on ti would simply turn 'ON' and on the screen it would write CREATIVE, and nothing could be done. no buttons work at all! please help!! 

Try disconnecting it and then reconnect it back to your pc, it happened to me once and then it was completely dead, nothing happened after it failed to install.

Then I waited the next day and I was about to return it, and I thought that maybe it would work if I connect it and reconnect it back and yeah it worked. it installed successfully.

Let's hope that it will work everytime I connect it from now on, if not I'll probably return it. 'cause I just bought yesterday.

Is your hardrive ok chceck it by listening to it and if you hear a clicking sound then its stuffed. Try reinstalling the CD that came with it and then reload the firware it soud work.
