Question about JVC AV-56WP74 56" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television

1 Answer

Me again I am sorry, I just emailed you and asked you about the JVC. The screeen is also bowed at the top and bottom, not in the same place but the top is bowed more toward the left and the bottom is bowed towards the right. Thank you again. -Eric

With the bow in it it's likely the convergence has failed... Where did you purchase the amps that you put in it? Did you use a good heat sink grease to mount them?? Did you really scrutinize the resistors in the feed and return circuits???

Cheap Fix?

I will strongly advise you to replace the two STK392-120 as a pair. and this will cure your bowing picture problem. You may need to re-converge your set. best of luck.
