Ok, you do not want DCHP to be on. Select IP address and enter the IP back in. Press ok, and ok, until it says "programmed"

Hopefully, you did not wipe out the subnet address, and gateway address. It would be easier to print a config page out to see. If you did, get to a command prompt on your computer, and type:

ipconfig /all --> then enter. That will give you the subnet and gateway if you lost it. If you have any problems, email me.

NEED TO CONFIGURE IP ADRESS ON SP3410DN. DHCP is set to off. How do I fix it?

Hi
If you go to this page you get the option to download a manual for this machine in ZIP format, or to view the manual in your browser:
Aficio SP 3400N 3410DN download page
I suggest that you download the ZIP and expand it to your computer so that it is available for future reference.
The easiest way to get this onto your network would be to turn DHCP on, and let the printer get an IP address from the DHCP server on your network.
Otherwise you must find out the IP range for network, the Subnet address, the Gateway IP address, and the DNS server address, and enter them all onto the printer.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Canon imageRUNNER C3200 Copier network setup parameter needed

Are you talking about creating a printer port in Windows to print to?

You can use a normal RAW 9100 port (just choose custom, and it will set it at that)
But I suggest setting the copier with a static IP.
By leaving it to DHCP, if you set any machine to use that address, if if "flops around" you'll lose the pointers to that address. Just go into the web interface on the copier to set the static IP.

Your question was just slightly confusing to read. I hope that's what you are asking for.

Users can't print through DHCP network

The IP address needs to be set to a static IP that matches the IP address that is configured in the driver. DHCP stinks for printers if the DHCP server does not reserve an address based on the MAC address. Go to the EIO menu on the printer and set a manual IP. You will also have to set the subnet mask, and default gateway. To find these you must do ipconfig in the cmd prompt on a pc of the same network. If you need step by step instructions, I will be glad to assist. I hope this helps.

I cannot get the printer on my network. What settings must I use with DHCP to automatically pull the IP address and be identified on the network? HP 5100 dtn

On the control panel, navigate to the Configuration menu and within it, to the EIO menu. Navigate to CFG NETWORK and select YES. Navigate to TCP/IP and select ON. Navigate to CFG TCP/IP and select YES. Navigate to BOOTP and select NO. Navigate to DHCP and if you want automatic IP addressing, select YES. If you select NO for DHCP, you will be able to manually set the TCP/IP parameters, including IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.

Trying to add a kyoceran fs c5030n to our network. The printer is connected by ethernet cable to the router on a computer using xp. I cannot get the xp computer to print to the printer. How do i connect...

You need to make sure the proper IP address is set in the printer for your network. If your network uses DHCP that is the easiest. Go into the menu and check/set your network card to use DHCP. Turn the printer off and back on. Go to kyoceramita.com and download the current driver. Run the driver setup and it should find the printer on the network and walk you thru the setup. let me know if you need more help.

How do we hook up ? internet/printer/network on a Sharp ARM 350

First off you need to make sure that the AR-M350 has a network port on the back of it (next to the parallel port). This model did not come with a NIC only the AR-M350N models did. If it does have a NIC port then you only need to plug in a patch cable to your network jack. As long as the machine is set to DHCP it will find an IP after you restart the copier. To configure a manual IP address you log in as key operator under system settings then navigate to Printer Settings - Network Settings.

I followed this suggestion and now the IP address is 0.0.0.0. I can not get to the printer setting. I don't know if the DHCP setting still remained as static instead of dynamic. ANY SUGGESTION?

I had the same problem, after removing the DHCP settings, maybe for an error during the configuration the printer didn't assume the new IP address and it resulted 0.0.0.0 from the configuration page.
No way to connect to the printer until I did a network card reset following this procedure:

************************************
7. Network Card Reset:
a. Turn the printer off.
b. Open the front cover.
c. Hold down the Continue and the Cancel button while powering the printer on.
d. Release the buttons when the Error light (bottom light) stays on solid.
e. Close the front cover and the printer should return to a READY state.
f. Press and release the continue button to print a network settings page.
g. On the page that prints verify the following:
 Status = Not Connected
 Active = Yes
 DHCP,BOOTP,RARP Enabled = Yes, Yes, Yes
 Address Source = Manual
 Address = 0.0.0.0
************************************

The printer took a new IP address from the DHCP server.
Since my goal was to set a fixed IP address, I entered the printer configuration through Internet explorer, typing the newly assumed IP address and going to TCP/IP settings where I removed The 'Auto DHCP' and I set the IP address I wanted.
