Have you try re pairing the headset to the phone? Most of the time we forget to put the headset in "pairing" mode so therefore the phone will not recognize it. Try that and let me know.

I'm trying to connect to my LG Rumor 2 with my 220 PLANTRONICS

First you want to make sure there is no other Bluetooth interference in your phone. Turn off your headset and phone (remove the battery from the phone for about 30 seconds, if possible, to reset). Follow the pairing instructions found on this link for the Plantronics Explorer 220 User's Guide -- pages 3-5, 7.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

Can you say if Plantronics 220 is compatible to work with blackberry 9630?

Hold down round button on earbud for 5-6 seconds until it flashes alternating red and blue. Then set your device (Phone/PDa) up for connectivity by allowing it to be discovered...Once your phone is in discovery mode, it will search and hpefully find the earbud.
