The only option after corruption of memory card is formatting it. But, after formatting certainly you will lose some data. Then you can recover lost data by making use of memory card recovery software because using this software I was able to recover data from formatted transcend memory card.

If your memory card is showing memory card corrupted both on the phone and your computer, then it means there is a problem with the memory card. Most likely the memory card would have been corrupted by a virus.

What You will have to do is to try to run an anti virus scan on the memory card. To do so, when You connect the memory card to the phone, You will have to right click on the memory card, then select scan using the anti virus of Your choice. Then it will scan the memory card and wipe out all corrupted files and viruses.

After doing so You can format the memory card before using it again.

If it does not work, then it means the memory card is damaged beyond repairs.

If its corrupted then simply down load hp format tool software. its free google it and downlaod.

install the software and format the micro sd card it will work fine,

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Nokia N70 ( or memory card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from the following websites, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos and movies from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc. It also recovers photos from corrupted memory card.

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your corrupted memory card to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Same thing happened to me too. I formatted it and it is still in my E71. Try formatting it thru your PC.

Please be noted that your phone memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

Buy a new memory card.

Yours has developed a glitch or virus and corrupted itself and is not fixable.

Those Memory Max memory cards for PS2 ****, go get real PS2 memory cards. But the reason it has corrupted was it being turned off while saving, you have to delete the corrupted files and it will work again.

Please try to format the memory card using a memory card reader on computer and then insert the card back in phone, it will say corrupted again, but now you try again to format it from phone and it should work now,,.....
