Question about LG RZ-20LA70 20 in. LCD Television
I couldn't find a listing for the LG 20LS7D so I figured I would ask here. The problem I am having is there is no sound coming out of the TV. The picture is great but the issue is that there are actually no output A/V jacks on this set. When I hook up a DVD player to the back of the set it does not recognize that it is there either so I am thinking the whole board is bad. I have opened it up and inspected the board for burnt out capacitors or something and can not find anything noticeably wrong. The speakers are good so it is not them. Does anyone have any suggestions before I buy one with a broken LCD to steal the audio board from to fix it?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I need some clarification before we can proceed. Which audio/video cable did you use to connect the 360 & your home theater receiver & TV/monitor? It makes a difference which you use. The HDMI cable would be the preferred one to use. The fact that the receiver only has 1 HDMI connection limits your options for other digital connections. Respond to this post & I can provide additional info. I have found that when responding to someone's question, I have a tendency to provide too much info on the 1st response.

you didn't mention what software version your ps3 is. in this digital age it's important to keep software levels up to date, with some exceptions. i'm including the web address for sony so you can update the ps3, but i don't think it's the problem. once you're are on their site you click on the ps3 picture & that link will take you to the software update pg. there you can review previous software updates. i quickly reviewed 1 of those & didn't see anything that addresses your problem.
have you verified that the HDMI inputs are are enabled correctly? thereare 4 inputs. refer to pgs 25 & 26 of the owner's manual.
I would put the heat on your LG retailer. clearly the new main board is suspect. you had the functions prior to the swap. the board is probably defective, but with a different problem than what you had previously. i visited LG's site. they currently have nothing in their knowledge base that mentions the your problem, nor is there a software update.
if you need additional help. write back. good luck.
