How do you tighten the oven door handle on a whirlpool electric range

Remove door from range and lay on flat surface inside face up. remove 2 screws at top and screws along bottom edge(4 to 6). The inside of the door should lift off. You will then see the screws that hold the handle on at the top of the inner side of the front half. Snug up the screws but don't over tighten if the screws pass through the glass panel. You don't want to crack the glass.

Hello i am cleaning my parkinson cowan cooker and i have took the gill door off and i cant put it back on, just wondering if you have instrouction please? thankyou

Position the glass between the metal plate and the white plastic handle contraption and secure with 4 screws. This is not very stable so hold the glass securely.
Pull the grill door forward 4inches, place the glass assembly with the lugs at the bottom in the corresponing holes on the grill door.
Move the top white handle and glass thingy towards the top of the grill door.
The secret to how this works is to make sure the sticky out things with holes in at either end of the metal plate/glass/plastic handle go under the lip of the grill door.
Place the remaining unattached to anything 2inch wide metal plate above the lip.
All the holes will line up. The screws screw into the affore mentioned sticky out things with holes in.
Thats it.
If you by any chance want a new website look at this.

I have replaced glass in many ovens. It is fairly easy. You set the new glass into the bottom piece then screw in the handle and top piece, then the sides snap in place. the door can be removed from the stove for easy repair. Simply tip the door to the broil position and yank it off the hinges. sit it on a work surface and be sure to add the insulation. very important!

My oven door shattered. i bought the glass and the outer trim. i need help installing it

This job is best done by two people, one to hold the glass in place, and the other to operate the screwdriver and position the handle and trim pieces.
The glass is held in place by the handle assembly at the top and a metal track at the bottom.  You remove the glass by removing the handle. Open the door part way until you have access to the back of the door.  The door handle is held in place by two screws on the back (the oven side).  Remove the screws, taking care to hold the handle in place.  Be sure to brace the glass, then slowly move the handle away from the door frame.  Remove the glass.  The side trim pieces will probably fall away from the door frame, although they will probably not fall all the way out.  My advice is to carefully remove them.  Be careful; they have tabs on the bottom edge that hold them in the door frame and these tabs are easily broken.  If yours are still in one piece you might just reuse them.
Remove the old glass panel and clear the bottom track of any debris.  Put the new glass panel in, beginning with the bottom track.  Set the oven handle on the top edge of the glass panel; there are tracks on the back of the handle assembly the top edge of the glass fits into.  Bring the handle toward the door frame, taking care not to let the glass panel slip out of the tracks.   The door handle has two collars that go through holes in the door frame.  Once you've got the collars through these holes, you can put the two screws back in that secure the handle to the door.
Take one of the side trim pieces.  Each trim piece has a narrow edge and a wide edge (like a capital "L"), The narrow edge faces the front and the wide edge faces the side of the door.  Each piece has a corner edge with a little tab sticking out.  These face down.  The opposite end of the trim piece has recessed edges. These slide under the edge of the door handle.  You want to insert this end first, then work your way along the length of the trim piece pushing the narrow edge between the door frame and the glass panel.
Here's the tricky part.  To get the bottom in, the best thing to do is to open (or better yet remove altogether) the drawer beneath the oven to gain access to the screws that hold the bottom track of the glass panel to the door.  Loosen the screw that holds the track in on the same side as the trim piece you're working on; the screws are on the bottom of the track about 1 inch in from the edge. Loosen the screw slightly and pull down on that edge of the trim as you push the trim piece in behind the glass.  Repeat until the trim piece tab slips through the hole for it on the track.  Tighten the screw back in place.
Repeat this process for the other trim piece. If you're patient and gentle, it shouldn't be too difficult.  I just did this myself today (2/7/09).
Good luck.

I need a replacement oval lid for a 6.5 qt Rival crock pot Model 6445-BC. Approximate lid size is 13 1/8" x 10". Can use either black or white knob. Have tried several Internet sites only to...

Not sure if such a thing is still available. What you could try is ebay. Although you probably won't find just the top, you might get a good deal on another crockpot.
Good Luck in your search.

Maytag electric range door handle (how to replace?)

The above solution is fine, but you don't have to remove the door.  Open the storage drawer for access to the trim screws (3) on the bottom of the door, remove the screws.  Have a helper hold the glass along the bottom. Take the three screws on the top of the door trim out.  Slide out the glass and put in a safe place.  Remove the four screws that hold the handle brackets in place, remove the handle (or tighten if loose). Install the new handle (one screw on each side).  Reinstall all parts in the reverse order of disassembly.  The entire job took less than 30 minutes.
