You will have to check that the installer you are using is licensed. Also you have to check with your administrator if you are in a network to give you access permit to install a new software.

Why won't my computer work after I deleted stuff

You must have deleted some Windows system files that the computer needs to boot up and work.
I suggest you boot up with the Windows installation CD and do a system repair.
If this does not work then you need to do a clean Windows install.
Most likely you will lose your data in this process.
If you need your data there is a method of recovering your data before you install Windows. Get back to me if you need to recover your data before you install Windows.

click start click to open on my computer you should see your usb drive could be E: or something right click select properties there will be an array of options

select the sharing tab option then advanced sharing make sure you have a tick in the share this folder box

then click permissions make sure you have all 3 boxes ticked full control changes and read in windows 7

If you are running a Windows XP OS then you might be able to:

Right click the icon of your Flash Drive (It should be F:/ or something)
Click Properties in the menu that comes up
Click the Sharing tab
Click permissions

I need to increase memory as the computer is slow. What should i buy and are there instruction to install.

I would first clean the hard drive. A more then half full hdd will take much more time to read everything. Also, most anti virus will scan at the boot, i personnally disable boot scan, so i run a scan when needed. Try this to help make some cleaning and find the files you dont use anymore in a more visual way... If you still need more memory, i suggest you bring the box to your local computer part reseller (not big surface). One of the best way is to buy a new hdd 7200rpm, format and re-install everything. You have a cpl new driver backuping software to ease the installation like this. Let us know!

KVM not switching

Hello!

From my experience I can say that such switches are very buggy, and don't function correctly most of the time.

I suggest you check that you have drivers for the USB keyboard installed on the Windows 98 machine.
Try by plugging the keyboard directly into the windows 98 machine and see if it works.

Hope this helps!

Some operations described require elevated privileges, so disabling UAC (Run->MSCONFIG.EXE->
Tools->Disable UAC) for the time being is recommended, Of course, it can be safely re-enabled after
all steps have been performed
