Best Printer for DVD's/CD's dics with reasonable ink costs
I was looking at purchasing a Epson R260 since a friend of mine swears by them, but she bought to older ones. What would be a good printer to use only for printing on DVD's/CD dics. I need one that has reasonable costs.

Many of the Epson printers ink cartridges have a sensor that allow the printer and the associated software know when to replace the printer ink cartridges (even when the cartridges have ink within them) and/or when the printer needs to be cleaned. In some cases you can bypass this message by following either of the below steps.
Use printer buttons to reset
Use the printer buttons to reset the printer by pressing and holding the "Stop", "Maintenance", and "Power" buttons all at the same time.
Do Below steps to Connect your Epson Stylus Photo R260 Printer -

I found this on fixya per dgsturt It looks like you've managed to get ink all over the shop by using the self clean option. That't mainly to clear bocked print heads and tends to squirt a load of ink through.
That ink has to go somewhere, it looks like you may have some on your rollers.
First, I'd have a look through the printer menu see if there's a roller cleaning option, give that a go.
Second, I'm not sure but worth a try, try printing a document that has wording all down the page but use an empty cartridge. If your printer will do this you’re effectively using a sheet of paper as a mop to clean the rollers.
Third, probably the most difficult, get some Isoproprial Alcohol from the chemist and try and clean the rollers and print bed yourself with a lint free cloth and cotton buds, what ever works.
If you don't like the idea of Isoproprial Alcohol, it is highly infamable, try with a damp cloth first, but it will take longer to dry off. If you find this helpful, pls rate me. Thanks.....
Firstky u need to make sure that the printer drivers are nt corrupted, i wuld suggest u reinstall them, make sure u do nt have any paper jam, check 4 small paper pieces inside, listen if the printer tries to pull the paper in.
