My alarm clock is brilliant, I've been using it for twelve years on a daily basis. This morning I accidentally put it in the washing machine. It went through a cool wash cycle. I took it apart and dried it as best I could. When I replaced battery only half of the display shows up (an improvement but not quite good enough). Would fitting a new battery make any difference or has my clock gone to timepiece heaven?
