With the unit switched on press and hold the stop button and press the power button once. if that doesn't work then try it with the play button.

My Panasonic SA-HT75 clicks off seconds after I turn it on. Even got a F61 code.

Open the unit and clean/replace the fan.
If it doesn't turn when you power it on after cleaning it, put some oil on its bearing sleeve.
Never power on this device while speakers are not connected!

Hope this solves your problem!

Unit displays f61 and nothing works What component is related to this

"Check and correct the speaker cord connections. Page 7
If this does not fix the problem, there is a power supply problem. Call 1-800-211-7262 for support."

It's implying you have a shorted speaker wire.

Is region 1 PAL? If so, and you attempt to display onto NTSC machine, you will get black and white.

Laser/traverse deck needs replacement.Spindle motor fails to spin.If loaded disk will not turn give it a slight push to get it started. If it runs the motor is bad and the traverse deck needs replacement. Not an easy fix.You need to know specific procedures and alignments.
