Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

3 Answers

Fellows ps60c-2 After I removed the seven screws there is something holding this together yet. I need to know what is holding this together? The reason I am taken it apart, there is something loose or broken inside. Is there something that I should know that might make the shredder only shred on the left side (not the right side very well) (the power switch side)

There are 8 screws. Two in shallow recesses and 6 in deeper recesses. The 8th screw is hidden by a warranty void sticker and is one of the deeper recessed screws.

You are probably right in that the shredder might be misaligned.

For mine, the power just went. I hope it is just a loose wire on the circuit board. The power light is on and Reverse works, but no shredding action so I hope it is just a problem with the wiring.

this was probally caused by a jam forcing cutters apart and breaking housing inside.

How do i take the cover off a ps60c-2 fellows shredder?

Sometimes they hide another screw under the label. Try running your finger over the label and see if you can find a small dent, if you find one, then that is where the other screw is located.

Take power head apart

There's another screw under the sticker. If only one side rotates, it's probably due to a stripped gear. That's what I just discovered on mine...now anybody have any idea where to get a replacement?

Navman Pin570 battery replacement

There are 2 little black tabs at the botton of the back that you have to remove, behind these there are 2 screws u remove, and flip the ariel up and there are 2 screws under there you remove also.

The body is clicked together use a guitar pick, ur fingernails or small scewdriver to seperate the 2 sections.

Inside you will see a few screws holding the systemboard down, if need unscrew them.

you will see the battery its stuck onto the system board... be carefull seperating it,.. use a flat intrument or a butter knife to work it of the board ( its stuck on with double-sided tape or some kind of silicon)..

unplug it,

plug your new battery in.. BONGO

Let me know how you go.

cheers
plato
