Paper jam I have a hp Photosmart 3210 all in one and it keeps telling me to clear the paper jam but I have removed all of the paper. This has been going on fro the past 5 days. I will clear out the error message but it keeps coming back telling me the same thing.

Paper jams constantly! I returned the printer while still under warranty the the replacement does the same thing. Nice printer, but useless if it won't print!

I tried the Cleaning Kit HP sent me. At the time they didn't mention that it required a direct USB hookup rather than the Network setup I was using.

Another user suggested using Lighter Fluid sprayed on the defective (too hard) paper feed wheels. Crazy solution? Lighter Fluid is mainly Naptha which the user claims softens rubber.

I tried it last night and waited for the fluid to evaporate before plugging the printer in. I really expected the darned thing to go up in flames so I had a pot of water and a blanket nearby as a fire precaution.

Much to my surprise .. the PSC 3210 has been feeding sheets perfectly for the past two days! This is after sitting in a HOT attic abandoned for over a year! I had to replace one ink cartridge which had dried out completely.

I don't know how long this "fix" will continue working but Lighter Fluid is cheap. The PSC 3210 is a quality printer WHEN it prints. It's too bad HP created so much bad will in its customer base because of defective rubber paper feed wheels. I've avoided purchasing HP products for two years now and have warned others to stay away because of this fault with customer service. Instead of replacing the defective rollers in my original printer, they exchanged the printer for a refurbished printer with the same defective rollers!

Hello, I have a HP 3210 Photosmart All-in-One printer. It will copy and print a test page with no problem. It will not print from the computer command. The photo carrier slides freely in and out as if it...

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Sir, The problem you are telling is surely be the problem of Paper Jam actually their may be small bit paper jam in side the printerThere are some "micro-sensors" that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.
To solve it
Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder

If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then
Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air.It will clear the printer jam error and your problem will be solved.
I hope you have clear picture in your mind, Don't hesitate to let me know if you have some confusion
Sir, Your Rating as Five Stars for this solution and Words of appreciation as Feedback for me will be really esteemed
Thank You for taking my service

Printer says paper jam when there is not one. I checked the paper path and there is no paper or bits of paper visible.

There may still be a small piece of paper present. The HP 3210 appears to have a very sensisitive sensor. My mother's printer had a jam, we removed all paper, inspected throughly, still didn't work. In the end we took it to an engineer who confirmed that there had been a very small piece of paper which he was able to remove and it's working again now.

If you can't solve your problem with the HP troubleshooter, please ask again and I can try and talk you through the resetting process. Hope this helps:)
