My craftsman zts 7500 will not start. The battery is charged but turning the key does nothing.

Might need to check the pto switch be sure it's pushed off, also be sure the connectionat the starter is tight.and you shou get ld check to be sure your pto wires didn't get knocked loose while putting the belt back on.

I just replaced the drive belt. When I got it put back together and tried to start it, it would only click but would not turn over. What do you suggest

The first thing to check is the fuse,it should be located underneath the battery.

How o you change the lift assembly on a craftsman ZTS 7500 mower ?
Should be relatively simple. There are 4-5 cotter pins that connect the mowing deck to the bottom of the mower. Pull the pins, push the metal rods out, and remove the deck!

Hello i have a craftsman zts 7500 50 in zero turn 24hp brigg and stratton engine. when i start it up it runs for a second and stalls out. what could be the problem?
It's sound like a fuel supply issue. If it has a fuel shut off solenoid in the carby, put your finger on it and check that it clicks when you turn the key from on to off. If not the solenoid is faulty or its not getting voltage from the key switch. Regards Phil

My craftsman zts 7500 will not start. The battery is charged, but turning the key does nothing.
The problem may be one of the safety switches. Make sure the blades are not engaged. The clutch pedal needs to be pushed all the way down, and there is another one that needs weight on the seat. Look around those areas for disconnected wires. Some even need to be in neutral. Lots of safety features.

Craftsman zero turn - blades won't engage
The PTO switch contacts to operate the clutch that starts the blades is defective. I have replaced mine and the new one just failed again. Sears must know this is a defect problem but so far they are quiet about the problem

Yes, I am sitting when I do engage the blades on my craftsman zts 7500. All you do is pull/push the engaged button to your left well you are seated.
