You are in luck, Dell keeps track it it for you. All you need is your Service Code, it,s on your computer case somewhere, usually labeled Svc Code. It's always 7 digits, letters and numbers. If you just find a 7 digit code, try that as your service code.

Visit www.dell.com. Move your mouse over to the Support and Help option (it has a big blue circle with a question mark over it). A menu will appear, click on Drivers and Downloads. Indentify your product by entering your Service Code. You will be brought to a page will all of the necessary Dell drivers available for your particular computer.

You'll see drivers for audio, bios, chipset, network and so on. There will be more than one selection for most things, like audio may give you 5 choices. Read carefully, usually you'll see one or 2 labeled "Recommended". Try them first.

It may take a while. Best wishes.

This is the path to check your pc's configuration
go to manage property of my computer
then go to device manager, you can see all your hardware connected with your computer.
now in device manager if you are seeing yellow ballon that means u need to install that perticular driver..
check name and configuration of that device through properties by left click.

Audo card how to replace

Open pc, remove sound card if not inbuilt to the motherboard, install new sound card into pci slot, close pc. Turn on.

I inbuilt sound card, boot up and hold del button to enter setup. Disable the inbuilt audio.

Boot up and insert disc with audio drivers for new sound card. Done.

The sound card will have one screw holding it in place to the case.

My sound device has been unistalled while i

the problem can be easliy solved if yo le me know the operating system and model no of your PC or the sound card...or the motherboard...if it has inbuilt sound card
alternatively you can also Install the missing drivers for the sound if you ru the Motherboard/drivers CD..it should autodetect and install

However you may also try openning Deveice manger o your system and try to update the drivers online
for that
Click START..Click RUN and type devmgmt.msc
In the device manager window..lokk for other devices and right click and click on update

There was a spark in my woofer and my woofers volume stopped working also due 2 tht my pc volume also is not working.i installed my motherboard cd but still pc volume is not working.also my woofer is...

good day sir, there is a chance that you PC audio port is also busted( the green port) you may use the blue port, but you should enable 4 speakers (usually rear speakers) on your volume comtrol properties , (or 6 speakers if you want to use the pink one). If still no sound on all ports, buy a new PCI sound card. Coonect it on any available PCI slot on your PC. then run the CD device driver.

How do i HOOK UP MY GATEWAY 506GR IN MY NEW OFFICE,,,,THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES FOR,,,? CAN ANYONE SHOW ME A DIAGRAM? IT'S FOR MY NEW BUSINESS AND I'LL NEED TO HOOK UP PHONE , INTERNET, AND SERCURITY...

Ideally, you should place the desktop below a table, which has a sliding sub-table for the keyboard/mouse. Since you mentioned music, do you want to hook up the computer's audio output to your Gym's speakers? In which case, in the back panel, (if you have an inbuilt sound card), you should find a audio out jack. Connect the ausio cable to your music system input.

I would recommend to use a flat LCD monitor, which saves a lot of space on your table to do other stuff.
If you are using a broadband network connection, the modem should be pluggable into the USB slot of the PC. You should also be able to locate the ethernet socket off your motherboard, and connect the modem to it. (The ethernet cable looks like a telephone cable, only slightly bigger)

Most camera security systems come with software which allows you to monitor your business areas from one spot. You will need to connect the surveillance cameras to some sort of a hub i guess which goes into the computer via USB or firewire. Somewhat like a webcam...

Hope this helps. All the best!

Hi there , My Acer Veriton has no sound card and no facility for one as far as I can see. Is it possible to use a USB external type. And if so how would that work? Rudy, from Australia

USB sound cards work quite well, will your PC support USB2? I have never seen a pc without a sound card? No PCI slots?

USB sound cards have their own internal workings not needed by the PC so it should work just fine. Now if they could just make a USB video driver card :)

My New System with the following Intel Motherboard Realtek High Definition Audio is not working or installing from the Given Cd. Realtek High Definition Audio Driver for Intel Pentium Dual Core E5400

hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you friend. try to use this solutions surely it will help you. then try to vote me if my stuff works so that i will know if i helped you. so. here: Problem: Your New Sound Card Doesn't Work—You Don't Get Any Sound Let's look at the simple stuff first. Is the card installed properly in your system unit? Have you connected the audio cable from your sound card to your CD-ROM/DVD drive? Are speakers (or headphones) hooked up to the card? Are the speakers plugged in and turned on? (And are they plugged into the correct jack? You don't want to plug your speakers into your microphone jack!) Are you performing a task on your PC that actually produces sound? Is the volume turned up loud enough (both on your speakers and in Windows)?
Okay, now that the easy stuff is out of the way, let's turn to something more difficult. The most likely cause of no sound is some sort of conflict. One by one, change your card's DMA, IRQ, and port settings. (This might entail resetting some jumpers on the card itself, as well as making some software-based changes.)
This problem can also occur if you add a new sound card to a system that has sound capabilities built into the motherboard. You'll need to disable the onboard sound before the new sound card can work. good luck.
