After 55mins lost chat connection with Eske.Please may we continue our chat with him, to resolve our printer problem.

    Here Is what I want you to do. Take the printer, connect it to your desktop pc, install the software.



    after the software is installed and the printer is printing on the desktop pc.



    Go to



    start -> control panel -> printers -> your printer -> right click -> properties -> shareing tab ->



    put a X on the checkbox share this printer. Share name put: HP PRINTER.



    Apply and Ok to close the window.

    On your laptop go to



    start -> control panel -> printer -> add a new printer -> add a network, wireless or bluetooth printer -> stop the search, and click on my printer was not listed. Then A new window comes up.



    Select the middle option, witch reads select a shared printer by name. Then you need to press on the browse button and when the computers come up, double click on your desktop computer,

    after that you should see the HP PRINTER we shared, SElect it



    then press next you should now be connected to your printer.

    Cause: An anti-virus or anti-spyware application is preventing the HP All-in-One

    Solution: Uninstall the HP All-in-One software, and then reboot your computer.
    Temporarily disable anti-virus or anti-spyware applications, and then reinstall the
    HP All-in-One software. You can re-enable your anti-virus or anti-spyware
    applications after installation is complete. If you see firewall pop-up messages, you
    must always accept or allow the pop-up messages.
    If the screen still appears, try uninstalling the HP All-in-One software, rebooting your
    computer, and temporarily disabling your firewall before reinstalling the HP All-in-One
    Troubleshooting
    software. You can re-enable your firewall application after installation is complete. If
    you still see firewall pop-up messages, you must always accept or allow the pop-up
    messages.

Hi Huw,

If your problem was unresolved, you can re-open the chat session - possibly with eske if he is available or with another expert if he is not. There is no additional charge for doing this - you only pay when the problem is solved and it does not matter if you previously accepted the solution.

I'm not 100% sure how you do this, but the first step is to visit your user area:

On the right hand side of your user page you will see your list of "Problems", one of which will be the live chat with eske. If you click on that problem from the list, you should get a transcript of the session and on the transcript page (or on your user page) there will be an option to reconnect to an expert or seek further assistance. See if you can find this. If not post back here and I will try to provide better instruction.

In addition, you should also email FixYa support and request a refund of the fee you have paid to post this message. Please quote problem/solution reference 7303110 in your email:

You should not need to pay to find out how to have your original problem solved and you should not pay for the problem until it has been solved.

well Eske has a profile page here and probably you could click on that ask me link, or alternatively, locate the chat or problem you had with him and add on. he would be notified by mail by the system.

Paper load light wont stop flashing, paper wont load and print


Hello scramm,

The FixYa server locked up towards the end of our chat session. That is why we lost communication.

What I was about to explain was how to test your printing from printer properties:

(01) Click on START
(02) Click on PRINTERS AND FAXES
(03) Find your printer in the list and RIGHT-CLICK on its icon
(04) Choose PROPERTIES
(05) Click on the PRINT TEST PAGE button in the lower right of the GENERAL tab
(06) Click OK
(07) Click OK again

Please, post back here and let me know how it went. If it didn't work properly, do let me know. I'll continue to work w/ you on the issue.

Yes the chat window said to me that you closed the chat. Sorry I have something else to do right now. But we will solve your problem. Do you have a program like msn messenger we could use to chat with? A chat window cant be opened again as far as i know. We will solve your problem, but not right now since the chat was cut off and I have something else to take care of. So if you have msn messenger we can use it to chat, My address on it is add me if you dont have the program you can get it from www.msn.com We can then continue to chat and solve the problem.
