Can an electrician fix our wii console? Or can an electric technetion fix our wii console then ?

No because video game consoles require a special technetion to repair game console so an electrician is not likely able to fix video game console so you could call the Nintendo repAir center then I don't recommend an electrician to fix your wii because it might make it worse

My sp will not charge, I am not sure if it is the battery or something else

Game Boy Advance SP - Charging Light Won't Display If the orange-colored charge light on your Game Boy Advance SP is no longer coming on when the A/C Adapter is connected to your system, please use the following troubleshooting steps.
    Troubleshooting Steps:
    1. Make Sure the Game Boy Advance SP Isn't Already Fully Charged
If the battery is already fully charged, the light will not display when the system is plugged into the AC Adapter. Play a game without using the AC Adapter for at least 10-15 minutes, then plug the AC Adapter in, to see if the light comes on. If it does come on, the battery was fully charged. If the light still does not come on, see Step 2.

    2. Make Sure the Outlet You Are Using Works
Plugging another electrical device into the outlet is a good way to check if the outlet works, or that the outlet you are using is not controlled by a nearby light switch. You may also want to try a different outlet.

    3. Try a Different Licensed AC Adapter
If the charging light doesn't display, try a different AC Adapter, if possible, to determine if perhaps the problem is with the adapter.

      • If a different AC Adapter works, you will need to get a replacement AC Adapter from our Online Store, or by calling our Consumer Service Department at 1-800-255-3700.
      • If a different AC Adapter doesn't work, or if a replacement AC Adapter is not available and the lights will not display, we recommend having your Game Boy Advance SP repaired. Check out our convenient repair options.

Note: Please be sure to include both the Game Boy Advance SP and the AC Adapter with any repair

Someone placed a blanket over the television while it was on. the blanket was HOT and the TV was hot. Am i overreacting to the dangers that this might have caused?

as long as everything is still working correctly, you may be overreacting. these devices are designed to withstand very high temperatures as they do not have any special cooling systems like a computer does (ie. no fans over the heatsinks)
you should be fine

I have a Wii that's just over 2 years old and it doesn't turn on. I've left it unplugged for a day to see if it just needed cooling off, that didn't work. Would the battery already have...

I doubt the battery is the culprit for your power troubles.

Has your console at all been unofficially modified?
If so, there's a chance it's bricked, in which case, there are very few fixes, if any are possible at all.

Otherwise, assuming your electrical outlet, and cable are in working order, there is an internal defect in your console and is in need of repair.
Check if your console is still under warranty, or pay to have it replaced.

Wii will not come on no lights, nothing like its not getting power. had a recent electric utility failure hasn't worked since could this have been the cause?

Hi, my name is Shaun. i will attempt to help you with your problem. The answer to your question is "quite possibly." The electronics inside game consoles are particularly sensitive. A power spike resulting from an electrical strike on a power line or the amperage surge from the inrush current when power is restored could easily fry the delicate circuits. My best recommendation would be to have a repairman check the power supply and see if it is still good, or see if your warranty covers those types of repairs, if you have one.

Red lights flahing on xbox, has been fixed before had to send away...any easier solution?

Lot of people try the blanket trick or towel trick, they wrap the thing in a towel to purposly overheat the thing to make it work. There is no easyness to this issue if the unit is having this overheating problem and you sent it away chances are you did not get a good repair, allow me to give you a reference www.videogamerepair.com they will repair it and garentee it for 90 days or more if the unit fails they will help you.

Sorry I wish there was a easier solution to this issue but honestly there is not. Please do be considerate even know it seems like this was not of help rate it based on other avenues, thanks

Joystick on my sons psp gets stuck want to send away to be repaired where do i send it and how much does it cost?

If you do a search for "PSP repair" on Google, you get some sites that do repairs. I believe some have a flat blanket repair cost, and some have the ala carte fix a specific cost.

I cannot recommend one site over another as I have not used any of them.

Good luck.

3 red lights.

I would not reccommend that you try it, as it does not work usuaully, in rare cases when it does it does not completely fix your console. Hope this was helpful, what is your problem? If it is the three red lights. i wouold get in touch with microsoft as they have extended their warranty to three years for the three red lights problem, and they will either repair or replace your console.
Good Luck
Mick (please rate if helpful)
