Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Shredder ps60c-2 I have a fellows ps60c-2 shredder and after I removed the seven screws I could not get the powerhead apart. I need to know what is holding it together yet. It also is shredding on the left side but not on the right side (Power switch side). I am pulling it apart because somebody has let loose or broke inside and do you know what this possibly could do or have something to do with the shredding.

There are usually one or two hidden screws under the stickers.

Under the large sticker that has the product serial number is the hidden screw that holds it all together. Scratching off this sticker makes the whole head assembly fall loose. I just did this just a few minutes ago and now have to see if Fellowes will sell me the main gear that has a broken tooth.

Someone else suggested that there is a screw under a label that needs to be removed. I felt what seemed to be a screw head uner a label but when I cut through the label I found a melted blob of plastic, as if Fellows had decided to replace a screw with a more permanent solution that would stop people taking the shredder apart to try to clear a jam and/or replace parts inside (and therefore force them to buy a new one...)

How do i take the cover off a ps60c-2 fellows shredder?

Sometimes they hide another screw under the label. Try running your finger over the label and see if you can find a small dent, if you find one, then that is where the other screw is located.

Fellowes PS60C-2 shredder doesn't shred

there are two switches under the cutter area. 1 for sensing when your basket is full, (sometimes these bin-full flaps get stuck in the up position, energizing the switch) and the other is a switch that detects if your basket is installed. fellowes has modified these shredders so many times, that there are alot of different configurations. look for something that resembles a flap under the head and make sure its in the down position. as for the basket sensor, some baskets had 2 projections on the left and right top of basket. one may be broke. if so, you can "cheat" the switch with a screwdriver to see if thats the problem.
