get the model # usually on the frame of the stove down where you open the drawer or around the oven cavity. then once you have the model contact an appliance parts store in your area with the model # and they should be able to get you some instructions or an owner's manual.
my brother stopped by last night and undid the lower fire cover , fiddled with something (we don't know the name) , now the oven will heat up and life is calm.
