Question about HP Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook
I was working on the internet one day & handed my laptop to a friend next to me as I stood up from the couch. When I did, the screen went away and was replaced by thick verticle lines. The only thing I could do was reboot the system to get it to come back on. After rebooting, everything seemed to be working fine; until I tried to go back online. The modem tries to connect but I get a no dial tone error. I live way too far out of town for wireless so, I'm not sure if it will connect any other way than dial up.
Thanks for the help
Plz check your phone line. then u scan your pc for anti-viruse and anti-malware in safe mode. then uninstall the modem drivers and modem through safe mode. Reinstall the modem drivers if still u cannot connect then your modem may be out of order.try a new one.Still problem persist than u check it with your service provider n tell them to check for the data part of your phone line
