Toshiba Satellite Latop - Keyboard problem when entering password
I have a problem with my (1 year old, with Vista Home) Toshiba Satellite laptop. Very recently, when starting up, and getting to windows password screen. All the keys lock, except for the backspace and delete keys. Delete seems to be working fine. Backspace seems to be typing characters.
Then after time the keys start working again, but the problem seems to be getting worse, and occuring more often.
I have unscrewed the keyboard and [gently] tried to clean it, also check connections.

If it is the BIOS-User Password, which comes at the startup then it is a serious problem and you have to go to a nearest service center of toshiba. There they will check your problem & solve it.
Last year the same happened to my laptop, i did my own research and tried many tricks, even i opened my whole laptop on my own but at last i had to report in service center and they replaced my mother-board.
