Strand Master Remote 3 in one codes

I need the codes a bush tv

I have managed through trial and error to get the remote working with the BUSH television. I will outline briefly what I did. However I am still not sure if this is the correct procedure but it does seem to work.

    1. Switch on the Television.

    2. Hold down the "SHIFT" button on the remote for about 6 seconds until the LED glows continuously.

    3. Press the "Chapter/CH+ button on the remote. The LED will begin to blink steadily at approx 1 blink per second.

    4. Press and release slowly the "Power" button until the Television switches off. This may take some time. (I had to press and release the Power button about 120 times!!)

    5. Press the OK (middle top) button on the remote IMMEDIATELY.

The remote should now work. Some of the functions have dual keys. For example the "Menu" function is accessed by first pressing the Shift button and then Menu. The OK function is also accessed by first pressing Shift. Pressing OK without Shift would give the mute function.

Thanks tohttp://www.fixya.com/users/benimur for resonding to my initial request and providing very helpful information.

SOURCE: Master Remote Control codes

Hi XX,

My sincerest apologies, I am not familiar with either the Strand Master 3 in 1 remote control or the Bush Television RF2185NTSIL/A.

However, a quick Google disclosed that a great many TV sets use the code 0065, 065 or 584.

Additionally, you can try 0742, 0157, 246, 263, 377, 037, 064, 065, 310, 300, 383, 399, 391, 402, 547, 292, 239, 312, 609, 322, 339, 515, 236, 389, 035, 191, 232, 245, 064, 0377, 0037, 0064, 0310, 0300, 0383, 0391, 0402, 0547, 0292, 0239, 0375, 0312, 0609, 0389 and finally 0339.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

You can find the remote control codes for different brands of devices from
http://www.hifi-remote.com/ofa/codes-tv.shtml#tv

If none of the codes work then we have two other solutions:

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

  1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.
  2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.
  3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)
  4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.
  5. When your device turns OFF, PRESS the SETUP button and RELEASE it to lock in the code for your device.

2. Learn the buttons from the original

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.
  1. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice.
  2. PRESS 9 - 7 - 5, the red LED will flash twice.
  3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.
  4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.
  5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.

Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through 6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

Hope that helps!

The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. The DVD player on my Bush 32inch television takes in DVD's but just displays 'No Disc' the model number is DLED32165HDDVD Is it something I can fix?

The player has failed, these types of devices are not fixed as the cost to repair is in some cases more than a new one. More than likely you could not get parts for it even if you knew the cause, which is most likely a failed laser light

We have a jvc RM -C3400 tv which my kids key locked. My remote is broken is there any way I can unlock without a remote? If so how. Thanks

Without a remote control, you can't unlock it by using the front panel controls. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one.
To select a proper universal remote control, you should know about the number of digits to its set-up codes. There are 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 2 digit and even single digit codes, to some brand devices. After confirming this, check the sites linked here. Both the sites have set-up code list and set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Check which brand remote control has set-up code/s to your device brand, and buy that one according to availability. Brand name of the remote control isn't a matter, but it should have set-up codes in its code list, to the device brand you have.
Please note: Every new universal remote control will have set-up code list, and set-up procedure along with its pack. Never accept a remote control, that hasn't both of this. For more details about the set-up codes, visit the sites.

Universal remote controls are available at most of the electronic spare part selling shops. Visit some on-line sites too, which deals with electronic spare parts.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window " to get gathered related posts.

I got bush TV cant get off device cuz havent got remite

Purchase a Logitec Harmony remote. When you set it up, the software asks for the device you intend to control. Enter in your make, and model number. After the remote setup is complete, you should be able to control it.

I would check on the logitec website (logitec.com) before you purchase to make sure your device is supported before making the purchase. But they support just about anything under the sun.
