Acer Aspire 5720-4126 Line In Audio

My Acer Aspire 5720-4126 has a conflict with its hd audio. The line in can send signal to the laptop so it can be recorded. But while you are auditioning the sound; you are unable to hear it through the speakers. There doesn't seem to be a line in volume for the output. Only for the input.

Thanks In Advance,

This would be a great system if it had a dedicated graphics card. Based on the specifications you've listed, it appears it doesn't have one.

Have no fear, any current generation PCI 3.0 graphics card will fit in it.

Hope this helps!

No sound

Here are the tips to fix no sound problem:

1. Double-click the sound icon in the lower-right corner of the desktop. This loads the audio options menu onto the screen. Make sure none of the audio options are set to "Mute." If they are, uncheck the options, and the sound returns.
.
2. Disconnect any headphones you have connected to the "Line-out" port on the Acer laptop. If headphones or anything else is connected to the line-out, the audio is not going to be produced by the computer's built-in speakers.

3. Connect your computer to a local power source. If the battery is running low, the laptop often stops producing audio as a method to extend the battery life.

4. Download updated drivers for the Acer computer. If the sound drivers are out of date, the audio is not going to project from the speakers properly. Navigate to the Acer website, choose your country of origin, then click "Service and Support." Click "Driver Download" in the left corner of the screen and click the kind of computer you have. Choose the exact make and model of your computer and all of the available drivers are displayed. Click the audio driver and it downloads to your computer. Double-click the downloaded file, then follow the prompts to install the updated driver. Restart the computer and the audio now plays correctly on the system.

G'day,

Check this link & then click Notebook under the Select product family, then Aspire, then Aspire 4920 or Aspire 4920G which ever support your Sound driver.

If it's useful for you please leave positive feedback.

The sound of my computers audio is strange. The computer is Acer Aspire E380 with Realtek High Definition sound card. Can anybody help me?

Try this, double click on the realtek HD audio icon on the system tray (orange speaker), click the effects tab, check if there's an active sound effect, change the effect to none, this should return the audio back to normal. Otherwise, either there's a problem with the speaker or on-board sound card.

My acer aspire m1620 has no audio device

You can download the correct driver by right click on "My Computer" and then choose "Device Manager" scroll down and see if your computer recognizes the audio. If it does then make sure your cables are connected. If not you can right click and choose "Install Drivers" and then choose "Install from the Internet" Or you can go to Acer's website and choose the correct drivers for your exact model. Please mark this is a solution if I helped. Thanks!
