Question about Xerox XR619DW Monitor

1 Answer

Font discoloration My font is not one solid colour. On the desktop the font should be white but it is white, blue and orange. Similar problem on programs. Also, some of the letters and black and some look faded. I have downloaded an updated Nvidia drive and done numerous colour adjustment. I have also disconnected the monitor and reconnected, but to no avail. I have windows vista home edition and can't seen to get an answer to this problems any where. Wonder if you could help. Thank you

You may not be running native resolution for the LCD screen.
Open Display control panel and on settings tab, set Screen resolution to maximum right position.

Standard VGA (with DDC VESA) pins are H-Sync = 13 and V-Sync = 14. R G B are 1, 2, and 3 respectively. Ground is 5, Red Shield 6, Green Shield 7, Blue Shield 8, 5V 9 (if there is a pin in the connector), Sync Return 10. 4, 11, 12 are ID Bits 2, 0 and 1 respectively, 15 ID Bit 3 (or clock pulse). If your connector does not have anything in 9 and 15, then it is not have DDC VESA.

Samsung sa850t monitor right half of screen is solid blue

Hi,

I think your Display monitor cable damage, or may be your motherboard display cheap damage, or your display driver problem create.

First of all you check your display driver or reinstall driver. Sec think used external VGA card or check it. If not solved then your monitor display section damage. So contact good monitor technician.

Thanks..

Basic "background" colors are wrong:

Kathy...have you tried connecting another monitor to the same video card and computer? It could be...

1. Video card defective
2. VGA cable from computer to monitor defective...look for bent pins in plug.

The VGA cable from the computer video output carries three distinct colors...red, green and blue. Likewise one of these colors may not arrive at the monitor correctly or at all. The results being that all colors are incorrect.

White colour is displaying as yellow

Your monitor is missing blue drive. Most likely a component failure on the CRT board. Bad color ICs, bad solder connections or defective capacitors can cause the problem.
