I have a FDB1500LFSO and the lock light is on and I cant get it to reset, what do I do?

From the ones I'm familiar with you press and hold the lock button and light button for 5 sec. Not sure if its the same on all.

Network unlock having 5 tries ,But security unlock forgot means you can use the master reset code and reset it.You can get the master reset code from the site
www.simpleunlocking.com and reset the incorrect password or security lock.

line polarity refers to the power in.white natural and black hot,or power.if it was working in the past,then problem is why is it locked out?when it tries to light and cant several times,it locks out.turning power off and back on will reset.if problem was a limit that resets itsself then it will fire up.there may be a limit you have push.air flow restriction of any kind will cause this.there are many things that have to be right for it to work.need to know what it does after resetting

it's depend on why the light comes on, if you disconnect the battery it's can come on, if the reason that, start the engine and turn steering wheel to left till lock and then right till lock do 2-3 time it will go off, but the reason is some thing faulty like brake light switch faulty you cant be reset it without scan tool, is this information helped you?

Is the door open or unlatched?
Make sure the door is completely closed and latched. On models with a dual-digit display, the control displays "- -" during a cycle if it believes the door is not latched. Check for obstructions (spoons, etc), interfering with the door operation. A lower dish rack that is installed backward will also cause incomplete door closure.
Is there power to the dishwasher? Electricaly ground dishwasher. Connect ground wire to green ground connector in terminal box. Do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,fire or electric shock.


Check your household electrical box to see if a fuse has blown or if the circuit breaker has tripped. If the unit has a plug-in power cord, make sure it is plugged in.
Does your dishwasher have a rotary timer knob? (Some Models)
The cycle selection must match the position of the timer knob. Turn the timer knob to the beginning of the preferred cycle. The timer knob should click when you reach the start of the cycle.
Is the control lock option activated?
Press and hold the Heated Dry option (button with lock icon) for five seconds and the light should turn off. Instructions are also placed on the label on top of the inner door to unlock the controls.
Is the delay start option activated?
To cancel the delay and cycle, press Cancel/Drain.
Has the motor stopped for less than 10 minutes?
The motor may have stopped due to an overload. If this is the case, the motor will automatically reset itself within 5-10 minutes.
Is the Start/Resume indicator flashing?
Opening the door or interrupting the power can stop the cycle. Close the door and press Start/Resume. If the Start/Resume indicator flashes three times when you press Start/Resume, the dishwasher is waiting for you to open the door after the last cycle. Open and close the door, and then press Start/Resume.
On models where the controls are on top of the door be sure to close the door within 3 seconds of pressing the Start/Resume to start or resume the dishwasher cycle.
Is the water shutoff valve (if installed) turned on?
Make sure that the water shutoff valve is turned on.
If these tips did not work or your controls are not working correctly you may need to schedule service.

WOW! This same thing is happening to me tonight too! The Lock button is lit for me but not the "heat dry". Looking forward to reading what this problem is.

that sounds weird to have all those lights on...
first thing is to try and remove the "lock"light...
push and hold the button, for 5 seconds, below the "lock" light,
that should get the control back to normal operation. then if you still cant get the unit to turn on, try to unplug the dryer for a few minutes.
if you still cant get it to turn back on, call sears "customer service" and complain since your machine should not have failed at this early in its life.

F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
F91 Maximum oven door unlock attempts exceeded.
F92 Maximum oven door open time exceeded.
F93 Maximum oven door lock time exceeded.
F94 Maximum oven door lock attempts exceeded.


1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch.

2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary.

3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam.

4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuously runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.

6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch.

7. If all situations above do not solve problem, replace EOC.


F90 is a door lock code, Try this...
unplug the range.
wait 1 minute.
turn the range back on,
then while holding in on the oven door.
start another self clean.
wait 2 minutes.
then cancel the self clean.

do not release the door until the door lock light goes out.

Press and hold the child lock button for at least 3 seconds.
This should reset the washer to normal use.

There is a lock/light key at bottom left hand corner of buttons hold that down until it beeps and the buttons should be unlocked
