SER71... Hello!! Thanks For Trying To Help Me! But I Need Specific Information About The IMAGE FREEZING n Not Moving, As i Mention, the Only Time i Have This Problem is When i Invite My Friend To View Me!! As Soon as My Friend Begin To View Me, My Image Freezes, Then it UNFREEZES, then it Freezes Again, it Just Keep Going thru This Cycle!! Oh And Her Image Also Does The Same Thing!! PLEase Note: When i Turn on My Camera and Just View Myself, It Works Great, No Problem At All, The IMAGE Doesn't Freeze!! If you Can think of Anything Else, I will Appreciate It Very Much!! This is Really Beginning To Bug Me!! Also Note: My Picture is CLEAR and SHARP, I have No Problems Sending My Cam To View and I have No Problem Recieving My Friend's Cam To View!! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THE IMAGE FREEZES!! But Thanks Again For Trying To Help Me!!!

Hi, What program are you using? msn messenger or skype or yahoo messenger. In all cases there is a call button that you have to use to contact. Look for it. Good luck.

How use the web cam with laptop

1) Head to the Yahoo home page, turn on Yahoo Messenger using the 'Messenger' link and log in using your account name and password. You'll need to create an account if you haven't done so already (see Resources below).

2) Click the 'Messenger' followed by the 'Start My Webcam' option. This will load your webcam, and is among the ways you can get your webcam to begin broadcasting.

3) Click on the camera icon that appears in a chat window while you are talking to a friend.

4) Click on a contact from your Contact List, and then click 'Invite to View My Webcam.' This opens a new IM window with your webcam active.

5) Click the 'View Webcam' link while talking to others in IM. This will allow you to see their webcams.

6) Use the 'Super Webcam' mode when you want to send and receive high-quality images and feeds. Broadband makes it possible to see one another in very high resolution, although even with high-end broadband your computer may slow down a bit because of the amount of memory and processing power this requires.

7) Click 'Webcam' followed by the 'Who's Watching Me' button to see which of your friends is receiving your webcam's feed

I have a dell laptop with integrated web cam..recently i have formatted my laptop nd installed all the drivers including cam driver. I have down loaded recent version of yahoo messgr i.e 9.0 nd installed...

You need to check the settings and configurations relating to your cam. Better to install windows again and reinstall all the drivers. Hopefully it will work

Webcam freeze, bad cam or what?

It is not the web cam or the computer why it freezes. It is the internet connection using in the philippines. the upload stream is too slow thats it lags the image. It could also be caused by the computer memory. But most of the time it is the connection. Be sure that when he/ she is using the webcam, shes not doing other things on the internet like downloading or browsing.
