Question about Alpine CDE-9852 CD Player

CDE-9852 turns off when driving

My CDE-9852 will shut off while I am driving and then restart itself. It's not a reset or anything, all the presets and time, etc. are maintained. It just turns off and then goes through the startup sequence like when the car is turned on. Oddly enough, the iPod continues to play during this whole process (but obviously the sound goes when the system restarts). I've had the head unit installed for about a year and no problems until now, but the frequency has been increasing.

You shouldnt have any problem at all. These don't use any special anti-theft features that would keep you from using any faceplate.
