SOURCE: Saeco Coffee maker container is leaking

OK, I finally called Saeco. There are about four rubber rings that you need to get. The one for the water resevoir is a big thick black ring and once you get it and look at the new and the old, you can see why it is leaking. Anyway, fixes it no problem.

The overflow in the drip tray? There are two rings in the back of the machine that will fix that problem. Problem? I got them, but haven't put it on there because it very hard to get in there.

Last one, the ring around the coffee puck maker (what do you call that part) It's the piston that catches the coffe and raises up to tamp it down, then holds it as the water goes through. ANyway, big ring around that. If you aren't getting a nice crema on top, that ring will cure that.

I saw get all four, replace them all at once and then descale the coffee maker and be done with it. You'll be working like new in a few hours or maintenance. For most of us, it's been like 3 years anyway, time to do it.

Lastly, when you call Saeco, (Pronounced I found our SA Yey Co) ask for the directions for cleaning out the grinder. Even has notes on how to get it back together with all the adjustments in the right spots.

The rep on the phone says she likes this model better than most fo the new ones.

SOURCE: Flavia Coffee Maker coffee sprays outside cup

I bet that's wild thing to see. Ok, Is ther a basket that'ds supposed to be there? If not, heat up a large paper clip, straightened of course and run it yhrough the hole. If the nozzle will come off, clean the burrs of the edges of the hole on the inside. It sounds like it's restricted if it's spraying. Good luck

Fill tank light stays on and water doesn't brew. Manual says to make sure the floater can move. It is floating fine and the pot still won't work. Any ideas?

You need to remove the tank and empty the water inside.
Then open the small cartridge that contains the floater and insert the small round magnet back in its place in the middle of the floater.
Assemble the tank and it should be working fine!

The machine will say Fill water tank. So, we will take the container out of the machine fill it to or just a little above the recommended line and then put it back into the machine. It will be full and it...

After filling the water tank, can you see if a grey plastic piece, in the back of the water tank, is floating?. If no, then that part needs to be replaced. If it does float, then the integrity of the water sensor, (located in the back of where the water tank is housed into), will need to be tested. Testing this sensor requires, tricking the coffee maker... that the door is closed. With Coffee Maker in the "ON" position, you will need to hold door switch in (located top right corner of unit, with door opened). As switched is held in, you will need to use a magnet and place it around the rear of where the water tank is housed into (Rear-left middle height area)... just around where the water tank float would be, if it were filled with water and inserted into the coffee maker. This sensor isn't visible, but is activated when a magnet is placed around it. If "FILL WATERTANK" message goes away, then replace plastic float or water tank itself.

All the lights on my machine are flashing. What

I had flashing lights in my braun tassimo and tried all previous solutions
Cleaned the barcode reader
Seated the water container properly
The problem was down to the flosting magnet in the water container (which was floating when filled)
The magnet had lost its strength somehow, so i held a strong magnet from from a fish tank cleaner at the back whilst the water container was in and it worked perfect
Inside the machine is a sensor which detects the magnet that floats in the water container
I am looking for a new magnet and will keep you informed if it worked when i get one
Good luck from Ash

There is a floating magnet in the side of the water fill container. Make sure the magnet is floating. That is how the Keurig determines whether there is water in the container or not. If it isn't floating, the machine thinks the water container is empty. If it is not working properly your only option is replacing the water container (or rigging the magnet and being very careful to make sure the reservoir never runs dry).

Fill water tank warning stays on even when tank is full.

I've had this problem. Looks like its the float in the back corner of the water tank, which contains something magnetic that must trigger a sensor. I put a piece of plastic in the float chamber to push the float closer to the side of the tank. Be careful, if you jam the float (in the up position) then you may run out of water without any warning. Very annoying when you can't get your morning coffee.

Add Water

Turns out I finally called Keurig and explained the problem (says to add water when water container is already full...) and they told me that it was most likely an issue with the water container. They sent me a new water container about a month ago and it looks as though the problem has been solved!! Solution: Call Keurig and get a new water container!!!!
