Question about Fujitsu ScanSnap Manager

PDF file cannot be found

Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner is responding to my computer. But after I have scanned a document, I cannot find the file. I was prompted by the message "There was error opening this document. This file cannot be found. Please help determine what causes the problem, and how to solve it.

    Computer responds to scans but the document does not show up on the list of scanned documents.

Install acrober reader again and try it.
also u can try to scan document in jpg format.

Scansnap hardware error 0x00048004


I had this exact same problem. Turned out that I was using the wrong power adapter. Enough power to turn on the scanner lights and connect to the computer, but not enough to actually perform a scan. As soon as I realized I was using the wrong power cord, I switched it up and voila!

My scanner keeps flashing and not pulling the paper through, I cannot seem to figure out why it will not scan. It does this quite often, what is the problem that is causing this? Scansnap S1500


Go to msconfig or if you have a registry cleaner, go to the startup menu. Disable and ssmgr (scansnap manager in pfu). Reboot. Open the ScanSnap 1500 and then start the ScanSnap manager. The scanner is now ready to scan.

Scanner will not pull the paper all the way through & scan. Scanner says not valid folder to save image is selected . Set the save folder for the scanned image data. I don't know what to do


Hi,

Try to scan by using the quick menu as I described below:
Check for the ScanSnap Manager icon on the taskbar.

5d5f1b3.jpg Right click the mouse button over that ScanSnap Manager icon.
Select “Scan Button Settings” from the Right-Click Menu.


2344c41.jpg Select the “Use Quick Menu” check box (it must be checked).

Load the document in the ScanSnap which you want to scan.
Pres the “scan” button on the ScanSnap.
Click the “Scan to folder” icon in the quick menu when scanning is completed.

The “Scan to Folder” dialog box appears.

Check the scanned image in the “Scan to Folder” dialog box.
By clicking save buton, save the scanned data in a specified folder which you select chancing the filename as you want.

I can not scan to folder now, I am using scansnap s510m, please guide how to solve this problem. I am using macbookpro


Click and hold down the mouse button over the ScanSnap Manager Icon in the Dock menu and confirm that Quick Menu is checked.

load the document you want to scan

press the scan button

when scanning is complete the snapscan quick menu appears

place the curser on the scan2 folder

click it in the action list

a preview window appears

You can change the file name and the folder you want to put it in. You can also resize it here by dragging the lower right corner

PFUSSMON HAS STOPPED WORKING ON MY SCANSNAP S1500


Find your specific scansnap product and update it:

A user had a similar issue and I found this update for the scansnap S1500 manager:

http://www.fujitsu.com/global/support/computing/peripheral/scanners/drivers/s1500.html

This occurs with certain Intel dual core processors, so you might be effected accordingly.

My Fujitsu ScanSnap S510 only flashes 5 blue lights


I got off the phone with Fujitsu and i was told you need to make sure that the ScanSnap Icon is in the system tray without a Red Line cross through it, so if it is not in your system tray start the snap scan program, if it's disabled re-enable it and you should be good.

I have and love Scan Snap S500 on a pc.  I am transferring to a Mac.  I downloaded the Scan Snap for Mac S510M.  The program installs fine, but does not open.  The icon shows a big red line through it.  ...

Thelatest Fujitsu ScanSnap V2.2 L11 drivers have been patched by me to work withS300, S500, S510 and fi-5110EOX/2/3 PC-based scanners for the MAC. Noneed to buy a new scanner. Just apply the patch and then send me aChristmas card! ;)

CAN NOT DRAG THE DOC SCANNED TO THE FOLDER


Normally only the left mouse button works for dragging PDF file from one ScanSnap Organizer folder to another.

If the left mouse button will not drag the files to another folder, try the right mouse button. If the right mouse button is the only one that works, you have your left and right mouse buttons reversed (see the Mouse settings under the Windows Control Panal).

My scanner is only scanning 3/4 of the page


My guess is to line up your document right, usually you will find some arrows on the scanner bed to tell you where the corner of the document goes. It's probably on the other side. Good luck!

No communication between computer and scanner


For interim jams like you mentioned, pull the power cord out of the scanner, close the scanner up, restart your computer, then plug the power cord back in and open up your scanner. Hopefully you will be back to scanning.

I am having a similar problem, but there nothing works permanently. My ScanSnap stopped communicating with the computer, reboots etc, don't work. An interim solution that worked was to reset the computer to an earlier configuration. That worked great for about 20 scans. Then it stopped communicating again. You can tell because the icon-tray changes to an S with a slash through it, and the power light no longer illuminates.

I have tried every uninstall, reinstall, etc. that I can think of. I would like to try to find the registry items and try to fix it there. In any case, if you have an updated answer, I am eager to hear it.
