Question about D-Link Xtreme N DIR-655 Wireless Router

1 Answer

The signal was still good but no-go to the web.

The device has been working fine since bought new more than 2 years ago but it stopped working this morning. The signal was still good but not connecting to the web. If by pass the router and connected to the cable modem directly, then no problem accessing to the web. Thanks for the help.

1. Clone your MAC address of the computers network card in the router and this should connect properly.
2. Power cycle the router.

I've 2 techincs connected 2 new mixer & only left channel plays frm 1 of them, Changed stylus:same issue, both fine on 2nd deck Swopped mixer sides,no good (other fine thru both Must b output frm deck?

Might be the cartridge or wiring, which is very delicate and needs checking with a multimeter.

Checking the amps, preamps and mixer is fairly straightforward. Professionals and keen amateurs will have a signal source that can be plugged in the the input. Years ago I bought a signal tracer from Radio Shack for a very low price which does the job very well.

An alternative is to plug in an open-ended lead to the input and by gripping the centre core of the screened cable with a damp finger a mains hum should be heard from the loudspeaker.

When I lock my 2003 dodge durango, the horn won't blow. when I hit panic button it works...what's going on? Bought vehicle new, worked fine...stopped about 2 years ago. Never have found an answer

Recheck the settings. I believe you can do this threw the radio. I have seen to many computers that just loose their programming. PCM's wipe clean. Can't say why. Just did. Had them programmed and all was good.

I have a roper dryer red4440sq0 that will not turn on.. I have checked all power its going to the dryer and hitting what it needs to hit and suggestions?

I bought this dryer 2 years ago. After exactly 1 year, the heat stopped working completely. It turned out to be the Thermal Cutoff device ($20). Then, just last week, the thing stopped working completely. It took me all of 10 minutes to determine that it was the Thermal Fuse (http://www.appliancepartspros.com/part_details.aspx?part_id=3132867), just by using my continuity detector on the two terminals. I unhooked the terminal wires, stuck them together, and the dryer turned on fine. They count on people buying new dryers completely whenever one of these dinky little parts made by child laborers in Asia fail. The fuse is $10 at the site I just linked.

Does not receive FM signals anymore, just noise.

The T6310 is a disposable radio. Assuming the programming is correct, and matching on each of your radios, and you are using good batteries, there is nothing which can be done to correct the problem. We would however, suggest you double check your programming, and also the age of your batteries.

Sidenote: Rechargeable batteries only last 18-24 months before they begin to fail. Signs of failure can include, but are not limited to, poor transmit, intermittent transmit, white noise, squelching sounds. It takes more energy to transmit than to receive, so your transmit would be the first to go.

Actually it a lnt5271f, but...

Your cable line coming to the house may be fine, but each device has a section of cable running to it separately. This will be coming from one or more splitters leading from the main cable. Follow the cable line that leads to your new problematic TV, to verify that both ends of the cable are firmly connected.
If you use a cable box then send the signal to this TV, be sure you have the cable/cables correctly and firmly attached/seated in order to get the full signal strength.
Also make sure that the cable is sound and not damaged or frayed in any way from end to end.

Navman icn510 gps reciever problem

How long are you waiting and are you moving while it is trying to acquire signal? These receivers are using older circuitry that may take up to 20 minutes to first acquire a signal from a cold start. If you are moving it may take longer!!! The good news is that after you have initially acquired a location, if you turn the unit off it will only take a minute or so to reacquire after it has "warmed" up.
