Question about SanDisk 2GB Cruzer Micro SDCZ62048A10 Hard Drive

Sound Problem... I do not get any sound from my speakers,though the sound card of my PC seems to be OK ! I updated my sound card drivers but nothing happened,again no sound. If anybody has an idea , please HELP ! Thank you in advance .

If your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

Click start control panel administrative tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers.
Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers make sure you have selected the
(appropriate speakers) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have selected the correct speaker settings.

Click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it

If this does not fix the problem
Click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker.

volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar for any further volume control settings you will need to right click on the speaker volume icon system select adjust volume.
Click start control panel sounds and audio volume advanced speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable).
The speaker plug/outlets is usually at the back of the computer or if its a laptop on the side.

You will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make

sure the connection is good with no dust as dust causes static electricity.
Clean your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is

no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit.

My speakers are not giving out any sound. They register as 'working' win all of my sound menus, but there is only silence from the speakers themselves. Help please.


Make sure the speakers are set as the default device. Right click on the sound icon, click playback devices, and then find something like speakers, and right click on it and choose set as default device. If you don't see speakers you can right click on each item and click test until you find one that works.

The sound is not working on my Dell Latitude E5420

and the correct speakers are selected

if this fails to fix the problem take it back to the place of purchase if possible or ring them for some warranty advice

it might be a faulty sound card

it should be under warranty

Connecting my 350gb IONi hard drive to tv and ither very bad picture and no sound or nothing at all

You indicated that you have 2x achieved connectivity on the home pc. This is a good indication of a problem with the USB port. You may want to acquire a USB card for the motherboard. This alternative access to the computer could solve the problem. Cost for a replacement card can be as low as $20. Use a screwdriver to open the case, install the card and go.

Sound drivers not proprely installing i cant here any sound in my computer help to get sounds on my pc compaq presario 700c which has lost its sound drivers after moving from vista home premium to xp


Let confirm the following first before going ahead:

Go to Control panel, double click on Sounds and Audio Devices, click on Sounds tab, click below on the sound scheme shown with speaker's icone (may be different in your PC). After clicking on the said icon, see if there is a errow highlighted than the sound is exists. There may be some problem with you speakers. If not, than shutdown your PC take out sound card check carefully if any damage on it. Note main chip Name and number send it to me I will try to arrange its driver. Connect the same to you PC, start the window, go to device manager by right clicking My computer, go to properties, Hardware tab, device manger, look at sound, video and game controllers, click on + sign uninstall sound driver, refresh it. PC will start searching sound card and will ask you for window's CD, put the CD in CDrom, click Ok. You will enjoy INSHALLAH. don't forget to inform me
