Question about Estate EED4300TQ Electric Dryer

Open Question

Whirlpool estate electric dryer model eed4300sq0 is noisy (louder than normal). This dryer has always been loud since new, but recently the normal loud hum while it is running has become louder and it reverberates at a steady frequency. I have disassembled it for inspection, did not see anything obvious. The rollers spin, the blower fan is ok, no lint clogs, tensioner seems to have tension. Dryer is 4 yrs old and other than the noise it still works ok. Any ideas???

Try pushing start button while turing drum clock wise and see if drum will start spinning, sounds like bad start winding or relay

SOURCE: CANT FIND MODEL OR SERIAL NUMBER ON DRYER

There should be a nameplate along the door opening. This is normally where Whirpool puts their information. Just open the door and look along the door or door frame opening. The nameplate data can also be located along the back of the operator console on some models. Let me know if you still can't find it. I hope this helps.

MY FRIGIDAIRE MODEL FAQE770KW0 DRIER IS MAKING A LOUD NOISE AFTER IT GETS HOT

you might need a new roller on the back of the drum, As for being louder when warm it's the part getting hot from Friction that is wearing the roller or roller pin down.

The fuse is tied into the door switch circuit and looks like this:

Hotpoint CDT00G Very Noisy

If the noise is like a shaking of rattling , like coins being shaked , then it is an object trapped inside the drum.

If instead the noise is a loud grinding , that may get louder on high speed, then it is usually a bad drum bearing.

If dryer is not cooling, check that the noise is not coming from the ventilation fan.

Rollers and belt tensioner can also make noise.

Whirlpool Estate Dryer barely heating

Four wires on the new cord.
Red and Black go to outside screws on the terminal.
White goes to the middle terminal.
Green goes to the cabinet ground screw near the terminal plate cover.

Dryer started out squeeling and now is making loud sounds?

This is very likely due to bad drum support rollers which is really not a difficult repair on these dryers.
