I am unable to print 6x9 envelope on my multi-task printer -

No, still having the same problem.  As I mentioned to Max this morning, I am using OSX 10.4.11.  The size envelope I usually use is 6x9.  I also have a smaller size, but I have not used that size since I purchased a new computer in December.  I have been able to print the 6x9 envelope back in Dec. & Jan. When I went to print one on Friday I was unable to do it.  It prints as though it is printing on an 8-1/2x11 piece of paper.  Max said I had all the correct settings.  He even had me install a new printer driver.  My projects are done in Print Explosion Deluxe 3.0.1.1.

Appreciate any help you can offer to resolve this problem.

    Thanks.

As I have mentioned earlier, according to Max, and even before I called Canon with the problem, all of my settings for both the computer and the printer are correct.

Unfortunately, there is no setting for 6x9 envelope so I have to use

Thanks for all of your help.  It's a lot more work for me to do with the envelope in setting it up so that it fits on a #10 instead of a C5 which I used on my previous printer, Lexmark, and also remembering to put in enough envelopes since it has to feed thru 2 envelopes in order to get one typed envelope.  Why not a C5? This is what I used for 5 yrs. with the Print Explosion and never wasted a single envelope, ever.  Since last Friday I must have ruined at least a dozen  envelopes.   Oh well, thanks for your help.
    Have a great evening!

U must isolate problem to printer or program. What program? Does printer work for other sizes?

Check Ur default settings for the printer properties, along with the program envelope sizes. Sounds like it prints, but wrong size.

When U call the envelopes & labels, check Ur options and set it to the envelope U are wanting.

One thing U may have tried part of this is -

    Uninstall the printer

Turn off the printer for at least 10 mins

    Reboot

    Turn on the printer.

Reinstall the printer and use the orginal drivers.

Cannon printers are usually good printers, maybe U've had a power surge and it has messed the software up. It really strikes me that it's a setup of the Print Explosion software.

    Good Luck

I am unable to print a 6x9 envelope.

Make sure you:

1: adjust paper size on printer and in the program.

2. pull levers toward envolope on feeder.

If you did all of this then chances are you have a bad feeder sensor and the printer would need to be repaired but I am quite sure this is not the case.

Thank you

My printer always refuses to print a 6X9 envelope by showing the message "paper mismatch,Press OK to cancel job".

go to the printer's preferences, and change the paper size. also be sure you are putting the envelope on the correct side of the printer's paper tray. It should have a small picture showing you the way it should be facing, etc.

Unable to print #10 envelopes on my Xerox WorkCentre 7675... I am using Microsoft Word and selecting the Bypass tray, but I'm still unable to print on these envelopes. Are there any other solutions?

Although you can lie to the 76XX series machine and get it to print on envelopes, the machine clearly shows that it does not take envelopes on the tray pictures. "Only C4 (229 x 324 mm / 9 x 12.7 in.) and C5 (102 x 229 mm / 4 x 8.7 in.) sized envelopes can be used with this printer; Number 10 envelopes are not supported. Attempting to use any other envelope sizes in this printer could result in jams. or damage to the printer. Do not use envelopes other than what is supported. "

Insert them Face up, flaps closed, leading edge to the right. When it asks, tell it envelopes, and give the size.

In the Envelopes section, under Mailings, Options, choose face up, and the 5th picture. It should work, but the envelopes sure get wrinkled.

Half-envelope error 41.3 or just won't print

If your getting a 41 error the printer thinks a different size is coming. For example the printer is expecting 81/2 and you are sending 11.
Make sure the printer is set to the proper size not only the progam you are sending from.
You can set tray 1 to CUSTOM or ANY and see if it helps.
hope this helps.

Printing envelopes

You may have to go into the printer properties and change the size in the paper size drop down list, Your printer thinks that you are trying to print the envelopes on standard size sheet of paper, if you change that to the 6x9 in the printer properties it should work for you now, If it don't just write back here and we will try something else.
