There would be several reasons behind it. Some of the main hardware may have gone corrupted. It can be Hard drive or memory. So check whether removing HDD it boots or not. or after removing memory it power on and boots up or not.
It seems that the OS has crashed. If you have windows operating system CD. then u need to resinstall OS.
First change the boot priority from bios.
press F8 or F10 at boot up and then insert the OS Cd follow onscreen instrutions.
Try to 'Repair' it first.

Crashes several times a day.

I had a similar problem with a Compaq laptop. Turned out to be the battery. To see if it is, take the battery out and run it from the mains for a while. If the problem occurs then its not the battery (not much help I know but it illiminates one possible source).

I think you may have a hard drive that is failing, (although there could be other errors such as a virus) Are you able to start in Safe mode? PressF8 repeatedly when you start up should allow you to go into safe mode. If it starts run checkdisk,
start, run type cmd and when the command window opens type
chkdsk /f (space between the k and /)
If it reports many errors or takes a long time (it can take several hours if lots of errors) replace your hard drive.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

Hi,
In your case, it seems that there might be some hardware issues. fight with your mobile phone vendor to replace it with a new one as you have sent it to service for many times.
Thanks

Have you gone into the BIOS to make sure there aren't any power managment features? Do you get the same thing happening if plugged into a different wall socket? Sometimes bad power surges can cause this problem. Other issues have been known to arise from motherboard problems. Or NIC power settings...strangely enough...a quick way to test if it's NIC related might be too unplug any cables from the NIC to see if it stays on or not? There are power settings on NICs in advanced settings. Let me know if any of that helps and remember to rate the solutions. Thanks!

My etrex vista crashes randomly please help

This is my fourth Vista HCx, the first crashed regularly until I updated the sw which fixed it, but soon after it blew an internal fuse and had to be replaced, the second worked great for six months and never once crashed but I broke the glass so had to send it back for repair. Unfortunatly Garmin will not repair a unit but will only replace it so the third arrived and kept randomly crashing after 2 to 12 hours use. I sent this one back and the fourth arrived this weekend, it crashed within an hour of getting it out of the box and switching it on. Everything at default just as it arrived. Have set everything up now and done all resets but it still crashes after 5 mins up to about 3 hours is the longest it has ever run for. I will be going back on Monday.

Hi,
These can get warm/Hot under constant use.
If it,s new i,d suggest you may have a faulty card.
I,m not sure whether you can actually remove the fan from the GPU Chip, but if you can.
I,d reseal with a quality thermal compound such as arctic-silver or similar. Theres a possibility that the card has overheated and damaged the thermal-seal between gpu and heatsink.
The other option, is to direct a fan blowing cool air towards the card, rather than trying to extract air from it.
If it,s new it,s faulty ( get it replaced )
If i can be of any further assistance/help.
Please post here.

Many thanks mike @ compurepair.
