Go to the Lexmark website. Click on the support link. Lookup your specific model #. Download the software/drivers pertaining to the operating system you are running. You should now have everything that was included on the original cd. Install & you should be all set. Hope this helps.
remove printer from USB, and un-install, reboot
insert CD that came with printer and run installation "DO NOT CONNECT PRINTER" installation should ask what kind of connection USB or parallel AND it will tell you when to connect it
NOTE: connect it to a different USB port that the one you used.
