Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
This means the battery is low and needs to charge,
If the battery is fully charged and it's still doing this, then contact Dell because this means there is a problem.

For this particular Dell, when you have a flashing battery light, first be sure that you have checked that the connections are tight and you are attempting to charge the battery from the wall plug. The flashing light indicates the battery is trying to charge.
However - if this is a constant problem, contact Dell ASAP! Many of these models have faulty circuits on the motherboards that prevent the batteries from charging, they will never charge, the will show that they are always in the 'trying to charge' state.
The best thing to do in that case, is one of two things, if under warranty take it back to your place of purchase right away so that they can resolve it ,
If you do not have a warranty option still, call Dell and explain the situation and how long the problem has been going on. If they seem reluctant, I would insist on resolution at no charge. It's not your fault they have PC's with a known fault!!
Please advise me if you require further assistance, that is why I am here!!!
