Hi again
This is most likely not required on your setup since your equipment is newer. you can find more information about this here: http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=CD-ROM+audio+cable&i=39413,00.asp

I still prefer using the analog audio cable on CD/DVD drives on slower older computers

Errors like these can be hard to track down sometimes. I am not sure that a registry fix program can track down a problem like this. The best advice I can give you without reinstalling windows is to download the newest HP driver package new from HP for your printer/camera device. Go to add remove programs and un-install the software. shut down and restart then reinstall.

The very best thing you can do is to backup all your data files pictures music etc and wipe your hard drive and do a clean install. I prefer this method to wipe away problems that are not easy to resolve with hardware changes like a new Motherboard I usually buy a new Hard drive and do a clean install then plug in my old HD and transfer my old files to the new one. then my system runs smoking fast until my kids start downloading kraplets that slow it down to a crawl LOL. I fixed the kid problem too built them their own machine to wreck and didn't allow them on my computer

I would like an internal view of eMachine T4150 to be sure everything is connected correctly

I could not find an internal photo with everything connected but I could find a picture of the motherboard but it was very small. Just make sure your graphics card is inserted fully into AGP slot, processor is clipped down, memory is clipped down, and your hard drives are on one IDE ribbon cable and your rom drives are on the secondary IDE channel. (jumpers are correctly set to Master/Slave). Then make sure the CMOS jumper is set correctly and check the button cell battery for the CMOS clock. That's it

My HP a420n won't start after replacing cd-rw drive

Please try to remove all the connections from your computer and also connections inside the motherboard, the power cord for your hard drives and also the power cord from the power supply to your motherboard. After that, remove the memory and clean the pin by using an eraser of the pencil. And then insert again the memory stick and connect all the connections from the power supply to motherboard and everything. Lastly reset your bios and put it back to normal again. Hope this would help. Thanks..

Try uninstalling the drivers in device manager, shut down, reboot and Windows should find both devices, it might ask for your windows disk to install drivers or search online to install them

3. is your system recognizing the hard drive (go to start>run>type devmgmt.msc and press enter> and look under cd/dvd rom drives... is your device listed? is it showing with a ? unknown device or a ! next to it's name?

CD-RW not working on same Ide cablew as HD

Hi, please check the power connector to the drive. if it is ok, restart the pc, enter BIOS setup, check whether the drive is detected or not in the drive configuration. if not there, check the jumper settings once again. for the new motherboards with one IDE and SATA interfaces, jumper settings are important. once i had the same problem.
good luck

DVD and CD RW Driver are not working

You might have knocked the cable our when installing the extra ram.

Take the cover off avail and find the cable that connects the motherboard to the first drive then then the second.

Push it in firmly at all 3 connections

If this doens't work try removing the ram and rebooting - see if your drives come back
