Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal
Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you
do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,
right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

You just have to plugin your mp3 player on your computer and once the system detected the USB device (your mp3 player), open windows explorer; to do this you need to right click your Windows Start button and choose Explore. Under My Computer, look for the drive letter associated with your mp3 player. Click for it to show the songs on the right side of the window. You just need to click on the songs you wish to erase and press on the Delete button. That's it.

Should you need further assistance, please let me know.

I have a gpx mp3 player, model MW140R. I have downloaded music to it before. I erased some songs. Now my windows vista home basic does not recognize when the mp3 is plugged in. The sync botton will not...

I just recently purchased the GPX MW140R. I can load .mp3 songs to it and remove them but my problem is that when I'm selecting songs, there are times that it will come to one and get stuck and the only way for me to get out of that stuck mode is to turn it off by removing the battery. Why is it that it gets stuck on certain songs and not others when they are all .mp3 format?

Any help in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot get windows xp media player to load anything to my GPX.

I have a gpx mw3847 and I load songs by opening up My Computer, finding my gpx mw3847 and opening it. Then I go to MY Music where I have my MP3 songs and just drag or copy the ones I want over to my Player. I don't use Windows media player to load songs no any of my players
