I archive and installed from an install dvd and then had a new desktop. Now I am trying to get things back from a previous system I found on the hard drive. I have two mail applications in my dock and I am finding an application in the previous system that I have in my new system and I am trying to trash things because I am running out of space. Can I trash the previous application if I have one in the current system?

Air bag light is flashing code 18. This happened after installing a new radio. I unplugged the PAD light. Is there a way to clear this?

Is the PAD plugged back in? The SRS system is designed to run through a self diagnostics every time the key is cycled on. If there are no issues with the system there should be no reason for the light to come on. even with a previous error, the system should reset when it detects no errors it will just store a history code.

My 1996 acura tl v6 is having issues with overheating. we bleed the system, aintfreeze and coolants have no leakage, replaced the temperature control sencor aswell as the thermostat. The radiator was replaced...

have a compression test done to check head gasket and for cracked heads . Have the radiator flow tested as the previous owner probably used a second hand unit to sell the car that was partially blocked any way.

Overheats because engine coolant backs up into reservior.

That's not the cause. That is the effect of boiling. Start out by pressure testing the cooling system to locate any loss of pressure and repair it. It's possible that previous overheating has led to head gasket issues now.

2001 Chevy Impala 3.8L. P0171 lean fuel code. We have replaced the MAF from a previous code. O2 sensors scan good, as does the fuel pump all within specs. Car is running like junk. 81K, Dropped Cat...

DTC P0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)
Basically this means that an oxygen sensor in bank 1 detected a lean condition (too much oxygen in the exhaust). On V6/V8/V10 engines, Bank 1 is the side of the engine that has cylinder #1.

Note: This DTC is very similar to P0174, and in fact your vehicle may show both codes at the same time.

According woth your previous tasks, inspect all vacuum and PCV hoses, replace if necessary.

Acer launch is stuck in a loop after system reboot- acer extensa 5620z windows vista

Something that is supposed to launch at startup is corrupted. Try booting in Safe Mode - if you can then disable all programs (including security ones) and try again. If now it works you know that it's one of them - enable them one by one till it fails again. If it doesn't work then it's either one of the drivers or Windows itself. Best solution is to reinstall
