Blank screen Hi my daughter put on a disc, no sound so exit program, went to start to find sound icon but failed exited start menu and then she said the screen went blank. I have no use of the keyboard. No powerlight, but there are 3 light at the top that are lit up. I've red the book, and think QUICK BLANK/QUICK LOCK what do you think? The FN key does nothing, also pressing it at the same time as stated in the instructions, does nothing. HELP

you replaced the hard drive fair enough
disc hard drives are being replaced by solid state hard drives which store more data and boot faster and with no moving parts seldom fail

BUT the operating system is on the old hard drive so the BIOS doesn't know where to boot up from hence the blank screen
on start up you have to hold down the ctrl and delete keys together until the bios screen comes up , go to boot up and choose an external drive that has your operating system on it as first boot save and exit
now after inserting the disc or usb stick ,restart the computer and now then bios boots from that external drive and you are away
once the program has been installed , you can go back to the bios , select hd as first boot and save , exit

Have you tried unplugging the keyboard and then trying to start the computer? Or trying a different keyboard? Sounds like a keyboard short or keyboard malfunction to me.

Click "start", then "control panel". Find and right click on "Toolbar and Start menu", and open. In the window you want check marks next to "lock toolbar", "keep the taskbar on top of other windows",and, "show quick launch" then click apply, then ok. Now click on the "start menu" tab and make sure there is a dot in the circle next to start menu, click apply, then ok.Now click on the "toolbars" tab and make sure there are check marks next to "desktop" and "start menu", click apply, then ok. Exit that and restart. Your icons shold work but if for some reason they don't, you shpuld be able to click "start" and find an Internet Expolrer icon in you box. You can also accsess your programs by clicking on start, click on "all programs", scroll to the program you want, then double or right click on to open.

there is no need fo any disc. u can make the setups manually. make all the connections try the following.


Press [DVD] to select "DVD/CD".
Press [START] to show the START menu.
Press [up, down button ] to select "Setup" and press [OK].
Press [,up, down button ] to select menu and press [OK]
Press [up, down button ] to make the settings and press [OK]
Press [up, down button] to select the item and press [OK]

To return to the previous screen, press [RETURN].
To exit the screen, press [START]
The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to standby.

The time and date is a system feature rather than an individual telephone feature. To change the date in the Legend Magix system, from the System Programming console: 1.- Press Menu 2.- Press System Program. 3.- Press Exit or Start. 4.- Press System. 5.- Press Date. 6.- Enter date in following format: mmddyy (where MM is the month, DD is the day, and YY is the year). 7.- Press Enter. 8.- Press Exit or Back. 9.- Press Home or Exit to exit programming mode. Press the OSD menu button for 10 seconds and this unlocks the OSD.

You may want to change the batteries in the remote and reprogram it. Let me know if that works. kim

That circles mean the progarm is running. The n95 keeps apps running in the backroun. To see the apps running u can go in to the menu and look for the circle, or u can press and told the menu key this will give u a list of the apps. U can also exit the programs from this by hitting the clear key. If you press the end key or exit the progarm with out hitting the exit button then it will keep running.
