Question about Lexmark T630 Laser Printer

The printer is telling you that the tray is reporting the wrong size paper. print the network menu from tray 2 if it prints out smaller than the page it will be reporting smaller than letter. if the bottom line of the outline is missing its reporting legal size paper. if you are running lettersize paper in the tray check on the left side of the tray half way down the drawer you will see a plastic snap in plate with 3 fingers the bottom 2 should be sticking out for letter size paper. you only have to be one of the small adjust teeth off to make the third finger stick out and report the wrong size paper this is a very common issue. look at the metal fingers that stick out of the frame of the options tray to make sure they are uniform and straight. if the fingers are set right and not damaged then the logic board in the tray assembly will have to be replaced
