I've tried all suggestions from other posts but still can't get Tub Clean Function to work.

Only suggestion I have is to try these old reset solution that work on some older lg washers: unplugg and wait 5 minutes or so, or unplug an d hold power button for 15 seconds, or unplug and the plug back in holding power button down for about 15 seconds then release. Good luck. (LG makes great products but their customer service and repair are horrible).

I have replaced the cold water valve on my F&P GW612, it worked well for about 6 washed and now is beeping continuously and LEDs are on (00110001). I cannot get the machine to power off without...

Hi Deb.
Unfortunately there is no really easy answer to your problem without getting a technician out.
When you ring it would pay not to tell them you've been working on the machine yourself or they may refuse to work on it.
Just say that the light are flashing..etc.
Bear in mind that the Hot and Cold valves on F&Ps are different and should not be exchanged.
Good luck.

Start button wont work

check the door switch and check if the power comes to the panel. If not the switch is faulty. If the switch works but the panel does not start even after the push switch is working then it is possible that the processor is not working. check the working of the touch pad switch, this is also seen as a regular failure as this is the most used switch.

Kenmore Elite Frontload Washer not working

If you already changed the door lock the only other thing that controls that is the control board... It might be faulty.

Kenmore washing machine 110.24812200 only filling water up but not working after that. no washing, no draining, no spin.

The washer that fills and doesn't do anything, or stops right after the wash cycle and then does not advance to the rinse cycle is commonly caused by a lid switch malfunction. The lid switch is usually mounted under the washer top casing, on the right hand side on most top load models. It is activated by a plastic piece on the lid (called a "Lid Strike") through a small hole on the rim of the wash tub opening. In many cases the lid strike breaks off the lid, or the lid switch becomes loose and no longer makes contact. Inspect the lid to make sure the lid strike is still intact, and then inspect the mounting screws (adjacent to the small opening on the wash tub rim) and make sure they are snug. If you determine the switch to be defective, the following link explains how to replace one:

If the switch requires replacement, a new one can be purchased on line at, or Just use your model number as your search criteria. Sounds like you may have a bad timer. They can work perfectly in one setting, and not work at all on an other. They can sometimes get a "flat spot" in one area that will stop them from moving or working. Good Luck!!! Jim
