This is from a security site I goto: How to fix bigfix This problem can be solved manually by deleting all registry keys and files connected with bigfix, removing it from starup list and unregistering all corresponding DLLs. Additionally missing DLL's should be restored from distribution in case they are corrupted by bigfix.

Attention autoconfig please wait -- this message keeps popping up in the monitor continuously. it also adjusts the contrast anf brightness some times automatically. please help

Sounds like the "auto config " is built in to your monitor. It selects screen sizing based on the resolution, sync timing, refresh rate, etc... that your video card is adjusting on the computer.

I would suggest you to try changing the resolution in Windows and see if still receive the alert.

For more information on Screen resolution and display on monitor, check the below Microsoft Help & How-To Articles:

1:
Change screen resolution :-

3: Troubleshoot monitor and video card problems :-
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Troubleshoot-monitor-and-video-card-problems

If it is doing it often and you are not changing screen resolution I would say the monitor itself might have issues. It's possible your display driver may be corrupted. I would suggest you to download and install the latest drivers for the Monitor from the manufacturer's website.

For more information on Updating a Driver and fixing driver problems, check the below Microsoft Help & How-To Articles:
1: Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly

2: Tips for fixing common driver problems
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Tips-for-fixing-common-driver-problems

Check the plug and cable, look for bent pins or pins pushed in.
Are you using one of those DVI/VGA adapters? If your monitor has dual inputs (DVI & VGA) have you tried using the other input?

Anyway you could check if the issue exists when the monitor is connected to another PC? Or maybe try another monitor on your PC?

You have a scamware virus on your pc. Download (as in Save, not Run) and install on your pc the free version of
http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Once the install is finished allow it to start, make sure it's updating and get rid of everything it flags out.

It may not be a virus. It sounds more like a bad case of spyware. You may want to download, install, update, and run something like Malwarebytes AntiMalware. It sounds pretty serious, so it may need the attention of a PC technician to fully remove the infection.

Hope this helps!

How to get rid of antivirus 2009 that keeps on popping up on the screen

If you want to keep the program on the computer but just run it when you need to then go into MSCONFIG and uncheck the box for the anitvirus program and reboot the computer. If you want to remove it completely from your system then go into add/remove programs and uninstall the program and it will get rid of it completely and then reboot.

Low disk space recovery D

Option 1: Vista itself requiers a large amount of memmory, consider switching to a less demanding operating system like Windows XP, If you prefer the Vista look you can get themes that make Windows XP look like vista (Remember: you will need to backup files which you wish to keep).

Option 2: Insert you vista disk and follow on screen instructions to modify which vista components you want on your computer or use the add/remove windows components wizard on you computer, you may find there are parts of vista you do not require.

Option 3: Continue what you have already started.

This is from the Lexmark Support page:

Attention Windows Vista Users
If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.
· Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC.
· Download the correct Vista driver for your model. (From Lexmark Support)
· Install the driver on your PC.

Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.

If you have Vista, try running Windows Defender within Vista. If that does not work, Spysweeper will get it.
