Question about Salter 2001 electronic kitchen scale
My Soehnle kitchen scale shows an out2 error - how do I fix this? It is a Venezia tr 50608

How to calibrate when "out2" is shown.
With the power off andthe scale on a stable surface, hold "g" and press "on". Some number will show up, probably a negative number. Press the "on" button again and the scale should display "Zero". Wait until it says "200.0". Gently place a 200 gram weight on the scale and wait a few seconds. If your successful it will say "Pass" and your scale will work again, yay!

Soehnle Cuisina TR 61026 has only one button. To solve the out2 error, I tried pushing button while inserting battery but that didn't work.
Apparently out2 could be caused by overload weight on the scale, bending the sensor.
What did help was putting strong force upwards ("negative weight") to bend it back. First it worked only when switching on without the container installed and after bending a bit more it also works when switching on with some weight on it.
You might need to do the "pushing button while putting battery in"- trick after bending and try several times.
BTW: When i first tried to switch on while applying negative weight, it showed the UNST error.

I had already solved this after a lot of playing and research, put I thought I;d post it on here for others as the answer was different for other scales listed here. My scales are actually the SolverCrest, but the method is similar to other brands.
What I did was press the 'Button 1' and 'Button 2' together for 5 seconds. This powered it up and then the display showed 'Cal' with a number on the screen. I pressed 'Button 1' again and it said 'Zero' and then displayed the numbers '0000'. Then I added 1kg of weight and it said 'Cal1'. Then I added 3kg of weight. It said 'Cal2'. Then I added 5kg of weight. It said 'Cal3', then 'Pass'. It then returned to normal mode and now started weighing correctly. I calibrated the weights (Flour and Sugar packs) on another set of scales first, but they were only a few grammes wrong so would be close enough anyway. I hope that helps!

Press "OFF' to scroll through set-up will see displays similar to:
3137 0000 0100 0005
with the digits flashing the third selection change to 0100 (if not showing) which is 100 grams take 20 nickels and place on scale Press "OFF"

(1 nickel weighs 5 gms) 5 x 20 = 100

Same problem (error out2) with a Girmi PS82 scale that fell on the floor. I solved it by applying strong pressure on the scale in the normal operation direction. The sensor was probably bent or displaced, but it got back to normal working and accuracy.
